  1. Nice sandals..........ok so theres one in every crowd....
  2. I replaced mine with the Barnett set-up 5 years ago abd also snapped a bolt. Back then they didnt come with new bolts and I failed to heed others warning about using new bolts. I replaced the factory bolts with allen head bolts.
  3. Sometimes a heavy duty flasher will slow them down to an acceptable level. Its a trial and error thing though.
  4. Cmon down and get greased..........
  5. You have the Barons risers and someone modified them and added that bar on the sides.
  6. My neighbor works as a tech for Acura and he picked up a tube of Moly 60 for me for free.....:dancefool:
  7. Picked up a six blade fuse block from Advance auto parts for 7.99. Mounted it behind the battery too. Used a 10G wire to power it.
  8. OK, so where can I sign up to be a Martian??????
  9. Sheesh, shipping was over 10.00 bucks! Never even thought about a local car dealer. Mine has 10 tubes in stock for 10.00 each. Thanks guys for the input.
  10. Stopped by Honda of Jax today to buy a tube of moly 60 paste. They had only one left and it was resealed sloppily with tape, the cap covering the tube was askew and there was grease marks on the tube. I asked if they had any more in the back as I know this is a standard ploy to only display something they want to get rid of before they put out the good stuff. They said no. One of the mechanics came over and said that sometimes they might run out of their stock in the rear and might open up a tube and take a "dab" from it then reseal it. Told them that i wasnt too comfy paying full retail (15.99) for an open and obviously used package. They just shrugged their sholders and I walked out. Now im pretty sure that there was nothing wrong with the grease itself, but I sure didnt like the way the dealers retail staff handles their product and customers. Sorry guys, but im no idiot.
  11. Honda Moly lube is fine for all of those points. I used black moly (non-honda) when I serviced my rear suspension and shock links as well as wheel bearings and the above 3 items you listed. Sounds like the dealer is just going on what Yamaha recommends in their service manual.
  12. Sounds like a wild goose chase to me.........
  13. Looks good....all it needs is a spoiler now...LOL:178:
  14. Now thats funny......... God, I wished we still had that car!
  15. Good grief...im surrounded by "Geezers"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Grill should be here next week sometime, along with a stainless tailpipe extension and red caliper paint. I know its not functional but it sure does break up that wedge look in the back of the car nicely. And it looks cool too...... ask him: thats the leg of the last person who disagreed with him....
  17. New member or old, he was still part of this family. Prayers go out to his family and friends.
  18. Just installed a new spoiler on Jeans car. Cant work on the bike yet, so.....
  19. I ran the Carbone Lorraine pads already and I wasnt impressed. I went back to the EBC HH pads front and rear and im happy with them. Nothing against the C/L pads, especially the price, just felt the EBC stops better.
  20. I already had a plugged tire lose air after riding it for 3000 miles. Tire still had plenty of tread too. In my opinion a plug is nothing more than a temporary fix. I already used Ride-On to seal a tire that was already punctured by a nail and that lasted 13,000 miles. The nail was pulled and the Ride-On did its job.
  21. You need to continously flush fresh fluid through it until its all clean looking. A MityVac works well for this.
  22. Hope things turn around for ya real soon Dan.
  23. Whatever tire you decide to run, STAY AWAY FROM THE METZELER 880's!!!!!!!!
  24. Heck, if he has the nerve to offer that at 6999.00 witn no accessories other than footpegs and a backrest and a missing windshield then I should be able to score 10k for my 99.....
  25. Take it in for warranty work. That module contains the whole dash assembly and it costs over $800.00. I wouldnt mess with it myself. Thats what you have that 5 year warranty for.
