  1. Peg, dont stop posting. Just because you posted some info and a few decided to head south with it aint a valid reason for you to stop posting. If you do then ill just have to post some real nude photos of me.......
  2. If they aint leaking, leave them alone. I usually flush my brake fluid every pad change on the rear and front unless I notice the fluid beginning to darken. Should be a nice light amber color, not look like Guinness Stout beer. I havent touched my 99's seals yet. I also watch the clutch fluid too. I flush that usually every winter.
  3. We all know Marcarl's tank is about 2/3's short anyway......... Looks great Annie......:happy34:
  4. Glad you like them Jerry. Thanks for the orders and patience....
  5. Rather than mess with the thin factory gasket I made my own slightly thicker gasket. I picked up a sheet of rubber impregnated auto gasket material and made my own for only 4 bucks. I have used the leftover material to make several other gaskets. Considering the factory gasket costs about 15 bucks I saved big when you factor in the three other gasket costs. And I know there are some who may disagree but use a good pliable gasket sealer on both sides of the gasket material. I forgot the brand that I used but it was blue. A true mating surface shouldnt have any leaks but all it takes is a tiny imperfection and it will leak. Better safe then sorry.... One more thing. It calls for the removal of the exhaust pipe on the right side. I left mine in place and cut down a allen key head to fit in the bolt while clearing the pipe.
  6. You guys need to stop thinking of it as a whine but more like the sound of a turbo winding up......
  7. OK, so when did you take that picture from a local news station here in Jacksonville???? well???
  8. It'll need to sit a bit to cool down but I figure maybe an hour tops. It should take only 15-20 minutes for the actual sync. One suggestion....before you leave, add a 1/2 can of SeaFoam cleaner into the tank. This will give the carbs a good cleaning prior to the sync. Sleeperhawk can help you with that detail...But watch him like a hawk...hes looking for a trailer desperately... Ill PM you my cell #
  9. If your taking your bike stay off of River St....those cobblestones will kill you, not to mention the train tracks that run through there too!!
  10. If your coming through Jacksonville FL on that Sunday ill be glad to sync your carbs for ya.
  11. Go to www.buckeyeperformance.com Rick has sets made for the RSV. Make sure you mention your a member here.....
  12. Right now the only night riding I do is when I leave the house at 2 am and head for work. My vision has gotton worse over the years and night riding is a bit harder. When I was younger I did it all the time though.
  13. Right now all I can do is add you to the list. The sets that are going out now are from the first production run, which is about 26 sets and were averaging about 3-5 sets a week. Your #21 on the next production run. I have had several cancellations on the first run, which is to be expected. That moved up some of the others in the pecking order. Once we finish the first run I will see how many from the remainder of the list still want them. We still need a minimum of 20 on the second run before we can cut a new sheet of aluminum. This stuff aint cheap. Right now I have that minimum. All I can add is they are worth the wait. I love my set and its only the mock up set!
  14. My drilled out R/K mufflers drive me a bit nuts on a long ride. Its not obnoxiously loud but it does invade your space a bit running a steady 80 mph.
  15. New England??? I cant even get him to come across the state to Jacksonville.....the pansy gold wing rider.....
  16. 16 comments but.......224 views..you are all a bunch of pervs!!!!
  17. Prayers are being sent......
  18. BORED POOPLESS..............you know me too well, ya know?
  19. MADE YA LOOK, DIDNT I ?????:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: :witch_brew::doh::doh::hurts:
  20. Ceedoo, 1rooster and Uturn...your sets should be ready sometime next week. Might even make it down to Tim44 and Annie too.
  21. Nice Peg...glad you two enjoyed yourselves.
  22. For that price you could probably find a nice 5X10 utility trailer either new or used which will do a much better job of hauling the RSV.
  23. Thanks, Mike..glad you like them.
  24. Looks like a nice bike, Rob and welcome to the site. We do have a few members up there in Columbia SC but id be very wary of them. I know one of them wants a trailer real bad and would stoop to untold levels to seperate you from that trailer....... What part of Florida are you in?
  25. Lightweight!!!!!
