  1. Yea, thats nice. Never thought about the Rocket...got me thinking now... Just looked the bike over on Ebay..10k. and its in my state too!! I like it. I could really see myself on it. All it needs are some floorboards and trunk and back rest. Forget my other choices. Rocket III it is, that is IF I ever get rid of my RSV.
  2. Glad it went well, Mini. Did the Dr seat you in the high chair by any chance??
  3. Hmmmmm:smile5:
  4. Hey George, pick up a bottle of Redline Water Wetter and add a bit to your coolant. Its supposed to keep it a little cooler and lube the moving parts. Been using it for years. These engines get hot enough all on their own.....anything to help cool them down is worth it.
  5. Damifino..........
  6. Thanks for the update. Got to watch those concussions.
  7. You da man Tom......
  8. Looking for a set of fairing eyebrows.
  9. Maybe he thought she was a pygmy.............(ok. ill leave now).... You know Boomer, I hate you man.....all I can think about now is pygmies, and that aint right....
  10. Congrats Tom and Taters. So, Taters, im nominating you for an award for putting up with Tom all these years. Im coming up on 32 myself and I keep telling Jean that shes so lucky to have me, so.....do you feel lucky, huh???
  11. Congrats and have a safe trip to Barbados. Were all pulling that he does well there. I remember my youth. I too was on the cover of a National magazine......I won 1st place in "Best Couch Potato & Slacker Award" I have excelled ever since....:pushups:
  12. Since your bike is a 2006 model, it should have the 5 year warranty down under also. If so, let the dealer deal with it. If it doesnt, then you will need to get an old spark plug to use to remove those plugs. This would also be a good time for a radiator flush.
  13. Chief, whatever way you go, make sure you replace those PP bolts with new ones. The old ones will snap off at the worst time. My preference was allen head bolts. 6 lbs may not seem like much but those old bolts will break on ya.
  14. I dont think that was a turkey....looks more like a pygmy
  15. Yea, Boomer will be surprised at just how many pygmies there are out there at night....
  16. Jeff, check the link...its a legitimate wine.... http://www.fatbastardwine.com/our-wines.php
  17. Chinto, the older batteries seem to charge up much faster on the Battery Tender than the newer AGM type batteries. My original Yuasa almost always went to green within 10 minutes whereas replacement AGM batteries take several hours longer to fully charge. Just wondering if there is a relationship there or not.....
  18. I have the R1 caliper set, SS lines and VMAX splitter, but the stock Master. Brake performance has improved at least 35% over stock. I just rebuilt my rear caliperand added an SS line also. Much improved too.
  19. Don, transit from Canada took about 8 days.
  20. Yes, we drank your reserve stash of Fat Bastard and if Sleeperhawk had made it over to the house he would have had some too, Squiddy Poo!!!
  21. Probably an Ultra or maybe a Stratoliner. Leg position is very important for me. My feet need to be forward.
  22. Got real nervous when I saw that title. Thought you had some kind of catastrophic wreck on your bike. Steps! Go figure. Sometimes even the simple things can be the most hazardous. Get well soon, Earl. Prayers sent your way.
  23. Just another thought on the HID install: Having ridden it at night now for several nights I just am amazed at how much light this headlight now puts out. I have a nice wider and longer path of light. Makes it seem almost like daylight. This has to be one of the best mods I have done yet. Makes my night riding vision better.
  24. Great pics as always Bobbie. Thanks for taking and posting them. It was great seeing you all again.
