  1. You know, as I see it, the bike is an 07. There really should be NO issues with the battery. So.....I would insist that the Dealer just replace the battery with a new one under warranty. I personally would not trust that battery under any circumstances. While hes at it, run a test on the charging system too. Also, make sure you see the new battery coming out of a new box. Just my humble opinion.
  2. Watch it there...thats discrimination........and I resemble that remark....
  3. Al, ill second both of these recommendations. I have been using sparkplugs.com for some time. My Irridiums shipped was about 35.00. I would also seriously add the vent to the windshield. It does make a HUGE difference in warm/hot weather riding. Down here in Florida I had to take off my fork deflectors in the summer because of the heat. This year I left them on because the w/s vent did an excellent job.
  4. Hmmm, maybe your clutch was slipping at 70 so the engine was revving a bit higher. Now that the clutch was replaced its back to normal. Are you in 5th gear at 70? If so, try dropping a gear and give it some gas. 5th is an overdrive gear. When pulling a hill or bridge at 70 I sometimes drop a gear to keep pulling.
  5. Very nice Buddyrich. I like the 1/8 on the rear floorboards. Im thinking that the 1/8 might look sharp on the air cleaner covers too. Ill be pulling the bike apart soon for its major cleaning/polishing. Looks like ill be adding some moulding too.
  6. Yes, what type of oil was used? Fork oil or engine oil? Also what type of trans fluid? Delco? Ford? Thanks for the great info on the shocks.
  7. I had run the mod for several thousand miles then went back to stock. I didnt see any appreciable difference.
