You know Brad, I seem to remember reading somewhere that the Michelin tires dont have the same sidewall strength as the Avons or Metzlers. Just a casual observation.

I have to agree with Rick on this one. This issue of finding different shocks was beaten into the ground for several years on different forums. Im sure that someone would have found a suitable replacement by now. If I remember correctly someone from Spain (Nacho?) tried to get a local company to make one and I never heard anything else about it. Hell, Progressive wont even touch it! A first gen shock, while much better designed, wont fit. If it did, we all would have one on them now and the e-bay prices would skyrocket!!

I love my Venture for its comfort and fit. I always felt cramped on an Ultra, which is one of the main reasons I went with the 2nd Gen. However, at least HD updates their bikes all the time. No, I dont agree with their high prices and "image" either, but at least they listen to their customers. Yamaha, you listening? Getting back to the main complaint: I have had several bad attitude experiences at HD dealerships, especially Daytona HD (downtown) whenever I went in there to consider buying that Ultra. Yamaha dealerships aint too much better but at least I can pay way less for bad attitudes at Yamaha then I can at a HD dealer...LOL:rotf:

First I have heard about it. Calling a motorcycle contraband?? WTF?? And I sure wouldnt want reckless riding left up to the individual officers discretion. Im sure AMA will respond. Hmmm, does that mean I may never see Jeffy again??

What you guys fail to realize that although the numbers werent spectacular, this is two very good teams and playoff games usually end very close or are a complete blowout. What I see is a Jaguar team that after a few years of carosel quarterbacks, have finally settled on Garrard who, by the way is the the third ranked QB in the NFL right now. And we also have two of the best running backs in Fred Taylor and Maurice Drew. The offensive line is fimally jelling. And I believe that the Jags ran all over the Colts last year, so even elite teams screw up from time to time. Its time to give the Jags some well deserved respect. Win or lose, we are proud of our team.

Yep, I agree, Melatonin or Tylenol PM. You need a quiet environment when you take Melatonin as it doesnt make you sleepy but relaxes you where you can sleep, however Tylenol PM will make you sleep and plan to set aside 8 hours before you get up again or you may be groggy. This is wisdom(?) from 20 years on nights.

From what I read elsewhere it was implied that the VMAX would be discontinued for 1 year then a revamped model would be introduced in its place. We will just have to wait and see.

Lewis, were praying here that everything works out well. My wife had her gallbladder removed about 10 years ago. Piece of cake. She was home the next day. After all the pain it was a relief to have it removed. Hope Charlene feels better soon too. Happy New Year..........
