adjust the Headlight?

Look down on the inside of the fairing. There's a knob that you turn. Left side as you sit in the saddle. -
Thanks for the replies. Motorcycle superstore shows they have the correct size Kenda Kruz K673 tires for the 2nd Gen bikes. I was so impressed with them on the Suzuki Volusia that I had, that I thought I would ask if anyone had tried them. At this point I am thinking I will wait til someone else tries them as my funds are kind of tight and I can't afford to replace tires twice. Ride safe ya'all.

Hey all, I am thinking about trying the Kenda Kruz tires on my 03. I used them on a 04 Suzuki I had and the were great. I know they have had mixed results on the 1st Gen bikes. My question for you all is has anyone used them on a 2nd Gen? Thanks all for your vast store of knowledge.

I had a similar problem with my 3.3 engine. I replaced the O2 sensor and the problem went away. I thought for sure it was a cam or crank sensor as I had problems with the cam sensor before that. But after asking around I was told the O2 sensor would cause that kind of problem. Hope this helps.

I have a buddy, who had the first one of those creatures here in CO. It was pain in the a** for the first few months because anywhere we went everyone looked at his bike and we could hardly stop without a crowd gathering. A little jealousy here maybe. Anyway, he has probably 30,000 miles on his bike and still loves it. That says something to me. Good luck with your bike.

We have not met but congrats are in place for you. I have just celebrated 25 years and I know it has not been easy at times, but worth it. Way to go.

Floor Board Foot pegs
tim44 replied to starkruzen's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
I got these from jc whitney for $45 I'm thinking. They bolt to the crash bar nicely. http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh105/deeleppek/Image005.jpg http://i254.photobucket.com/albums/hh105/deeleppek/Image006.jpg- 11 replies

Thanks Lowell for sharing that. Thanks to all you who have shared more. I can't even begin to comprehend how that art work is done. I enjoyed my ride, Lowell. Hope we can do it again sometime.

Wild hair, I am going up to Lake George Sunday. If I wasn't I would be glad to ride down to Lamar. It should be a pretty day tomorrow. Monday is supposed to be a bit cooler with a high of 49 degrees. However, I would be willing to meet ya and do a improptu m&e. Are you caging? If so, maybe we could meet in Monument and see if anyone else in the area could meet as well. We could do lunch at say 1:00.

Just prepare for anything. We could have snow by then, although it won't stick around long. Or we could have indian summer and temps in the 60's and 70's daytime. That time of year we could see lows in the 40's or 30's because of the altitude.

Passenger handgrips needed
tim44 replied to Joelmark's topic in Royal Star and Royal Star Tour Deluxe Tech Talk
Do you have a driver backrest? That would help you and give your passenger something to grab if they really felt the need to do so. Maybe fashion something onto the back of the backrest? -

Are you asking about the syncing? That is a fairly easy operation. I have done that. If I can I am sure you could do it.

More Stories on the RSV Float Levels
tim44 replied to V7Goose's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
Well as I had a day off I decided to take Mr Goose advice and tear into it. This was the first time I took the carbs off this bike since I bought it last fall. The operation on my patient was easier than I anticipated. The tech forum on this site is awesome. Many thanks to all who have put so much effort into sharing their knowledge with the rest of us. The float levels were off by .1" to .15". So I will have to see what happens to my gas mileage now that I have them set correctly, via the Goose Float Mod. Anyway, I also found another problem. The number three carb diaphram was not completely in place. I believe that was from the factory but not sure as the bike had 15,000 miles on it when I got it. Many thanks again to those who share their knowledge on this forum. Tim -
I tryed to edit it. I hope the links work now. I am picture illiterate.

I saw twins each pulling a trailer last Sat. at the top of Monarch pass. You decide if it is a car or bike. They are called a Stallion. Ford engine, automatic 5 speed transmission, Air/heat, steering wheel. Looked interesting but not sure I would want one. http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=217082880/PictureID=33959842014/a=122922917_122922917/otsc=SHR/otsi=SPIClink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/ http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=217082880/PictureID=33959845014/a=122922917_122922917/otsc=SHR/otsi=SPIClink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/ http://www2.snapfish.com/slideshow/AlbumID=217082880/PictureID=33959850014/a=122922917_122922917/otsc=SHR/otsi=SPIClink/COBRAND_NAME=snapfish/
