  1. Flyer from Parts Source in todays local newspaper has Sea Foam on sale for $9.99 from April 4-May 1.
  2. Impressive!
  3. Thanks for the input guys....initially when I looked I didn't think there was enough material in depth to make it work, that why I was looking at alternatives but after taking things apart, I see there is enough room to carve it out. That's now the plan. Bringing the bike home from storage next weekend.....cant wait to ride!!
  4. O.K. Gary, thanks. Was hoping to not have to do that but I guess that is an option.....the cheapest one as well. O.K...just removed the cheek pad portion and see where I can carve out a bed for the speakers....time for the dremmel tool!!
  5. Carl....your verbal withhold is amazing and completely out of character!! LOL! The speakers have just been calipered at .506 inches at there thickest.
  6. Just bought a new open face helmet and have two complete sets of J&M HS-8154-OF headsets....the problem is the speakers are too thick to fit properly in this new Gmax helmet, hitting my ears. They were not an issue in my old HJC helmet.....like the new helmet and don't really wanna have to return it and swap for another....do other headset manufactures make thinner/smaller speakers? From the look of the J&M, you can't just disconnect the speakers and change them.....so I'm guessing it's either new headset of new helmet.
  7. Nice ride buddy! Be safe and keep the bugs outta your teeth.
  8. Enquiring minds want to know!!!! We need pictures!!
  9. Don, good to hear that you two are going to make it work. You know you have the support and prayers of everyone here.
  10. "El Tesora tequila...sea foam for men" .....oh ya baby! Love Tequila! Of course too much has the reverse affect......no starting at all....sluggish behaviour......
  11. I noticed the last few weeks that my Jeep Grand Cherokee was not running very well.......sluggish starts from a stop, poor acceleration and gas mileage. I have used Seafoam in my bikes for years now, so when I filled the gas tank on the Jeep last week, I dumped in a can of seafoam. I am not yet down to half a tank of gas but have already noticed a significant improvement in fuel economy and she is much "peppier" now. I am just wondering.......an ounce or two of Seafoam in my morning coffee.......hmmmmmm.....peppier.....more get up......hmmmmmmm......
  12. I have also applied for the Beta testing....keeping my fingers crossed.
  13. Ya think he's got butt-crack now...just wait!
  14. Won't work for me either.
  15. Better late then never.....Happy Birthday Dan.
  16. Ding ...ding...ding....ladies and gentleman, we have a winner! Wish there was a prize for you Squid! Got that disc....thanks.
  17. Well there is at least one character looking over his shoulder in the first picture that everyone should know.......and it wasn't Vogel.
  18. Can anyone identify any of these bikers and tell me what event this was?
  19. Hope the doc can get you fixed up quick. Now we have another excuse to take a Sunday ride to Dover.....fish lunch and visit Joopster55!!
  20. I read that thread but there was never a report so I'm not sure if the device was ever installed. I like the look and functions of this one buy don't really want to spend that much: http://www.ebay.ca/itm/Acumen-DGV-Display-Gear-Indicator-with-Voltage-Meter-All-Models-RED-LED-/141198945215?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item20e01cebbf&vxp=mtr Is the RSV set-up that these devices are plug and play or are we talking about splicing wires?
  21. Does anyone have any experience with the various gear indicators available for the 2nd gen? Referring more towards the less expensive ones....see them ranging from about $16.00 to almost $200.00. How/where did you mount them? How difficult are they to wire? Thanks
  22. Beau-Kat...does your wife know you got two blondes waiting for you in the garage?? :rotf:
