  1. You will enjoy that bike....but remember.....we need pictures.
  2. Suds, there is a large group from this club in Ontario so there will usually be someone close that can lend a hand. where in Ontario are you?
  3. Thanks for input guys....Bobby.....you know my electical abilities are somewhere between slim and none so I may just take you up on that offer my friend. Will let you know. I want to do a day-trip to Buffalo this summer...was there Monday and I saw a sign about a new Cabela's opening this summer and very close to that is a Longhorn Steakhouse.....two good reasons for a ride to Buffalo! Wil let you know if/when that happens....maybe we can grab a bite together.
  4. That's cause a butt that cute needs constant rest!
  5. I am not real happy with the covered switch used for the driving lights, as well as it's location. Has anyone relocated that switch to the handlebar area to make it easier to turn the lights on and off? Pics would be good if available. Thanks.
  6. My last Venture was an '87 Royale.....great bike, loved it. The only issue that I had with it was replacing a head gasket. Road that bike to Colorado and back. Good luck.
  7. Dragonslayer.....you're comparing Canadian prices to U.S. prices......not a real comparision.
  8. Flyer from Parts Source in todays local newspaper has Sea Foam on sale for $9.99 from April 4-May 1.
  9. Impressive!
  10. Thanks for the input guys....initially when I looked I didn't think there was enough material in depth to make it work, that why I was looking at alternatives but after taking things apart, I see there is enough room to carve it out. That's now the plan. Bringing the bike home from storage next weekend.....cant wait to ride!!
  11. O.K. Gary, thanks. Was hoping to not have to do that but I guess that is an option.....the cheapest one as well. O.K...just removed the cheek pad portion and see where I can carve out a bed for the speakers....time for the dremmel tool!!
  12. Carl....your verbal withhold is amazing and completely out of character!! LOL! The speakers have just been calipered at .506 inches at there thickest.
  13. Just bought a new open face helmet and have two complete sets of J&M HS-8154-OF headsets....the problem is the speakers are too thick to fit properly in this new Gmax helmet, hitting my ears. They were not an issue in my old HJC helmet.....like the new helmet and don't really wanna have to return it and swap for another....do other headset manufactures make thinner/smaller speakers? From the look of the J&M, you can't just disconnect the speakers and change them.....so I'm guessing it's either new headset of new helmet.
  14. Nice ride buddy! Be safe and keep the bugs outta your teeth.
  15. Enquiring minds want to know!!!! We need pictures!!
  16. Don, good to hear that you two are going to make it work. You know you have the support and prayers of everyone here.
  17. "El Tesora tequila...sea foam for men" .....oh ya baby! Love Tequila! Of course too much has the reverse affect......no starting at all....sluggish behaviour......
  18. I noticed the last few weeks that my Jeep Grand Cherokee was not running very well.......sluggish starts from a stop, poor acceleration and gas mileage. I have used Seafoam in my bikes for years now, so when I filled the gas tank on the Jeep last week, I dumped in a can of seafoam. I am not yet down to half a tank of gas but have already noticed a significant improvement in fuel economy and she is much "peppier" now. I am just wondering.......an ounce or two of Seafoam in my morning coffee.......hmmmmmm.....peppier.....more get up......hmmmmmmm......
  19. I have also applied for the Beta testing....keeping my fingers crossed.
  20. Ya think he's got butt-crack now...just wait!
  21. Won't work for me either.
  22. Better late then never.....Happy Birthday Dan.
