  1. I wouldn't know what to do with that much room......or that much "clean".....
  2. Bwahahahahahaha!! Just wouldn't be Carl without!!
  3. Russ.....your unselfish assistance always brings a tear to my eye my friend.....
  4. Had two of them over the years JohnT....had an '83 and then an '87.....nothing but good things to say about them. Got the bike down off the centre stand with some help. Will make some adjustments over the weekend when time permits. That should fix it.
  5. Ya....different manufacturer but similar function. Once I get her off the centre stand and onto the side stand or a jack, I'll have to make some sort of similar modification....the angle is bringing the bike too far back.
  6. Just pumped her up to 43lbs and no difference...still can't roll it over off the centre stand.
  7. If I remember correctly, I've got zero in the rear.
  8. O.K.....so I installed the centre stand on my 2006 RSV and then learned that I have to always put the side stand down before using the centre stand. Great....so the bike is up on the centre stand......for the life of me I cannot push or rock it forward enough to get it to come down off the stand. I'm not a small boy, and I rocked this thing til I was blue in the face...she won't roll forward enough to come off the stand!!! Any suggestions???
  9. Man that would be a blast!
  10. You can find Seafoam on sale at Canadian Tire sometimes for around $9-10.00. I get my filters from a place right around the corner from where I live called Zdeno Cycle. Haven't had this bike long enough to need any other parts yet.
  11. O.K....I guess it's a procedural issue vs a mechanical issue. Thanks for the input guys.
  12. So if I understand you correctly, it's not a hardware fix....simply always putting the side out to use the centre stand?
  13. 2006 RSV...just mounted a used "Freebird built" centre stand and it went on fine but when the centre stand and side stand or both up, the side stand hits the centre stand and can't be deployed.......since the wife can't hold up the bike so that I can see exactly how/where it's hitting, I can't say much more. She says it's the last 1/4" or so of the tip if the sidestand.......do I just grind the end off the side stand, or was the centre stand not mounted properly? Thanks
  14. You will enjoy that bike....but remember.....we need pictures.
  15. Suds, there is a large group from this club in Ontario so there will usually be someone close that can lend a hand. where in Ontario are you?
  16. Thanks for input guys....Bobby.....you know my electical abilities are somewhere between slim and none so I may just take you up on that offer my friend. Will let you know. I want to do a day-trip to Buffalo this summer...was there Monday and I saw a sign about a new Cabela's opening this summer and very close to that is a Longhorn Steakhouse.....two good reasons for a ride to Buffalo! Wil let you know if/when that happens....maybe we can grab a bite together.
  17. That's cause a butt that cute needs constant rest!
  18. I am not real happy with the covered switch used for the driving lights, as well as it's location. Has anyone relocated that switch to the handlebar area to make it easier to turn the lights on and off? Pics would be good if available. Thanks.
  19. My last Venture was an '87 Royale.....great bike, loved it. The only issue that I had with it was replacing a head gasket. Road that bike to Colorado and back. Good luck.
  20. Dragonslayer.....you're comparing Canadian prices to U.S. prices......not a real comparision.
