I went to a local supplier and there are dozens of different sizes and style of those speed nut clips, and without more info, I don't know which one is the right size or style. Thanks.

Not sure of the correct terminology for the light.......installing an alarm system on the bike and, much like I had on the Wing, I want to also have the flashing small LED light to indicate that the alarm is there and on. Any suggestions as to the best place to mount that light? Any pics of you have something similar would be appreciated.

Count, thanks for the offer.....I bought a Beret model M-T004....the instructions suck but my "pit crew" seems to most of it figured out. You're more then welcome to drop by for an inspection Saturday....probably get back at it around 1:00pm.

Guys.....if Carl's isn't going to work, is there anyone that not going to Carl's that could do this at my place Wednesday night? Don't know much about electrical but I'm thinking this can't be that big a project. I have probably all the tools required other then if anyone has any good connectors for something like this.

Any other place with members that are this....... interesting ( replace with crazy ).....has rubber rooms and locks on the doors.....I'm staying and I hope this site stays for a long time yet.

Jimmy99....love the idea of the shock treatment....laughing just thinking about how entertaining that would be to watch....problem with the bike cover is my employer is a bit anal is some resects and even gave me a hard time for not displaying the parking permit on the bike, until I had to explain that it would then grow legs and walk away. The compromise is that the parking enforcement people be able to see the bike to recognize it....ya I know......:bang head:

Electrical stuff is not my strong suit......alright.....let's say I'm about as good with electrical stuff as I would be preforming brain surgery. I have an alarm system that I bought for the bike....not about to debate whether I need it or not......I park my bike at work near a courthouse.....too many idiots wanna play with the bike, including one mother who thought her kids should be able to climb all over it!! Anyway.......was hoping someone in the K-W area would have an evening free once that could assist me in installing the alarm system. I will supply the cold beverages......only 1 if you're driving. Thanks.

Had that experience last weekend heading up to the cottage.......spreading the liquid manure......literally almost gagged.....used to farm smells but wow, this was over the top.

Working hard to make this happen....might even be able to make the trip Friday with the rest of the local crew. Will let you know. What time of day you guys thinking of heading out?

My original plan was to ride to my cousin's place in NY state Friday night and then ride from there to maintanence day Saturday for the day.....unfortunately those plans have fallen apart. Anybody from the Kitchener area going down after work Friday, and intersted in maybe sharing a room Fridy night? I would be heading back Saturday. Thanks

Brought the bike home from storage at the cottage last weekend....rode through rain, hail and snow....I'm sure everyone that saw me that day thought I was nuts. Anyway, gave her an oil change and filter to day and went for a short ride around town.....MAN did that feel good!! Saw a two tone green RSV (99?) on Lackner in Kitchener while I was out riding.....someboidy from here??
