  1. I am sorry buddy, I'l list it in the right place now ( Sorry.
  2. Hi all, I'm trying to find a new Air Suspension Control Panel clear plastic window to replace my broken one?
  3. Thanks for the info Paul, yes you do make a point, so there's no real benefit in doing it, I thought it was self levelling and adjusted to the road as you go along?
  4. I'm thinking of adding the class (Computerised air levelling system) to my standard 1983 XVZ1200, I know I'll have to change the wiring loom and add the rear compressor and right control panel so my question is, "has anyone done this already"?
  5. Yes sorry, its the clutch switch that I meant, its got something to do with the cruise control and goes into the clutch, my one's snapped.
  6. Hi all, anyone got a spare left hand cruise control kill switch for an 84 Venture Royal for sale? My one works but one of the lugs that hold it in place has snapped?
  7. Hi,try cleaning the plates first, as you know, using an oil that's not recommended WILL result in what your experiencing? So if I were you, I'd take the plates out and stack them in the order that you remove, so they can be put back exactly, clean them up with a de-greasing liquid, let them dry out and them refit. One other thing, Never do as you suggest and put a washer behind the springs, if they are worn, change them, they'll only snap otherwise and could cause you a lot more damage.
  8. Hi, this is the best site to be on for us Venture riders, so stick with it, I'm quite sure you can dish out the stick as good as the rest. Like most of the guys have said, you'll find it hard to get hold of an original 1st gen tool kit, you can, however, buy some of tools NEW, like the final drive measuring stick, take a look in the parts catalogue, which you can also download from this great site.
  9. Hi all, I have rebuilt two units and both work fine, if anyone's got some non-functional TCI units please send them to me stating the year of the bike and I'll see if I can repair them, like I stated though, if the pcb boards too damaged, trackways burned etc then there's not much that can be done:178:
  10. Hi Dan, take a look at the track ways, so's long as they are still intact you should be able to repair it. if you can post a picture of it here, I'll have a look at it and tell you what I think? Its a shame you can't buy new pcbs?
  11. Get the seat shaved, that'll give you more ground clearence for your legs, I've ordered quite a few parts with Pinwall Cycle Parts and can report that they are a good company to order from. 1st gen's the ONLY way to go mate, I love the 1st gens, so stick with it.
  12. I agree that it may be the TCI unit starting to fail, if your good with a soldering iron repair it, its not too difficult, if your not I can repair them so's long as the PCB's not damaged, so email me?
  13. Hi Guys, yes, remember these O rings are 20+ years old now, just change them and you'll have no more leaks, remember to clean everything up first though.
  14. Hi, use Plastex, take a look on eBay at item number:- 110323693080 Just copy that number and paste it on the ebay search bar. I used it to completely repaire all the plastics on my Venture, works a treat.
