i painted mine black on the inside looks good to me. just cleane real good and wipe it dry and paint. -

i think i would have paid a little more attention in school than what i did

well i have had several bikes growing up but my first love has always been a yamaha. i bought my step dads honda 750 drove it every where then one day i needed the money so i sold it then it was my birthday and i was on third shift my woke me up me up and said go get your birthday present and she new i wanted a bike again so i went looking and i found a 1983 venture royal fell in love with her had her for a few years then we had kids so that fell by the road side so did with out again then we decided it was time to get another one i looked and looked and then i came apon a bike that like the best bike to me plus it was a yamaha. i looked at all the models and all the colors and i fell in love with the 2006 black cherry with the tank emblem that was like no other i think that is what caught my eye bi looked all over and when i would find one it was sold i almost gave up then my wife found one on cycle trader in kansas city i called and put down a down payment and went and picked her a few day later. i have had some trouble with radio but i am working on that but other than that i will not be looking for another bike till the wheels fall off or there is no VENTURE RIDER FAMILY any more and i dont see that happeing any time soon. glad to be a part of this site and wouldnt trade all things that i learned and all the freinds i have meet and the ones i havent meet yet. thank you all for letting me talk.

mine went out april of 2010 took the controler off sent it in 6 to 8 weeks later i got it back said nothing was wrong with it wanted the amp next so sent it in they lost my amp so they sent me another one but didnt get it till october it played for one day and went out again wiating on a warm day so i can go back to the dealer and replace it again good luck

nice job were did you find the color to match the rest of the bike. we could have went for a ride today. went to walmart today first ride in week man it is nice out side.

check this one out in Corinth, MS 2009 for 14,799 sandstone/raven its on Cycle Trader and if you would change your mine and want a 2007 black and blue there are tons of them on there i cant belive how many 07 there is for sale -

does anybody know where i can get the wire diagram for a 2006 RSV radio and AMP?

he said it would be two day shipping and that would put it friday maybe saturday and there closed on mondays so maybe tuesday or wednesday i can go up and get it. been looking for you out on the road but havnt seen ya. went to giant city park two weeks ago and rode the grape vine trail then this past weekned we made a big circle about 150 miles saturday most of the weekends we (Tammy) are out riding some where as long as i stop for her to shop every thing is ok lol. might be a little cool this weekend already making plans for 2011 MD at Dons.

well my radio went bad the third week of April took it to the dealer they sent it off told me it would be 4 to 6 weeks so i said ok well 9 weeks later got the controler back it was good so they wanted my amp so they took it off and sent it off a little bit after the 4th of july so now its been 15 weeks. so today i called to see if they had lost my number so i got the service manager on the phone and he started to apolgize about how he didnt follow up on it and that he would call clairon right away and that it shouldnt have been this long. an hour later i get a call back from the dealer he said he just got off the phone with them and they told him that they had no idea what he was talking about so he gets the tracking info and faxes them the tracking number and who signed for it on what day and time so guess what they have lost my AMP he says he told them that that wsant good enough that his costomer (me) has been waiting for 15 weeks and wanted to know what they plan to do about it so guess what they said that they would send me a brand new one in two days so after 24 weeks i finaly get to hear music:680: again.

my son just text me said he saw it last night i still havent seen it yet but i will keep looking -
mine went dead the first of May so i took it to the dealer they took the control off the handle bar sent it out it was gone for 9 weeks came back said it was good so then they wanted the amp under the fairing so now it's been gone for about 9 weeks as well and still no radio:crying: but since yours is less than two years old you should get a replacement i have to wait and get a rebuilt or refurbished one.
