I've smoked for over 30 years and i used all kinds of stuff to quit but had no luck till i used chantex last year now i have been smoke free for a year now and i love it gained a few pounds because now i can taste the food but i can work on that.

i had a 83 and one day i wanted to see what she would do. i got about to 115mph and the front end started to come up off the ground there was a wing below the radiator with some lites on it i figured the wind caught the wing after that i never got it up past 80 to scared i guess.

my wife suggested the nail polish thing as well. i will give it a try over the weekend and see what happens. i wonder if they would frown at me if i took the helmet in and asked if i could color match it with there nail polish lol lol.

well guys these are all good ideas i will try some of them. as for the helmet it looks like crap got to figure out how i am going to get all those scratches out of it

i need your help on this matter. i bought my wife a brand new helmet($80) to match the bike. got it out of the box and put it in the trunk she got it out and there was a big scratch on it i asked her when did she drop it she said that she didnt so i just blamed it on one of the kids. got it out again sunday and there was another one on it by this time i am getting real mad about it but didnt say any thing to the wife or kids. so today i rode it to work went to put my helmet in the trunk by the way mine is a half helmet no scrathes yet i look at hers again and i can see that it is a fresh scratch on it i looked inside of the trunk and i see paint on the bolts that hold the luggage rack on and i put 2 and 2 together. so my queistion to you guys is what did you do about this problem did you put some thing on them to make the problem go away or did you cut them down or am i the only one with this problem? by the way i gueess i owe the kids an apology when i get home.

i guess i will go ahead and stick my neck out and ask this quistion. can you tell me what a color tune is and how it works i seen alot of talk about it and i really dont know what it is or how it is performed i do know that it's got some thing to do with the plugs and carb's but other than that i am lost.

thanks for you help but there not what she was talking about she said it was about 3 to 5 inches tall and about 12 to 16 inces long had little pockets with zippers and pouches.

My wife was at a bike dealership and was looking at a used bike but what got eye was a bag that was in the trunk to put all of her stuff (brush, mirror etc) in reached from one side of the trunk to the other. I went on line and cant seem to find what she was talking about. If you guys and gals can help me out with this. thanks

Well i did it. I went and put a down payment on a 2006 RSV black cherry. I have been a member here since Febuary but didnt have a bike. I had a 1st gen 83 that needed more repair than i could do but i just got rid of about 3 weeks ago and have been looking new one for about 4 months now. I really like the looks of the 2ng gens. I could'nt make up my mind on which color to get I had it down to 3 that i liked 2000 MM, 04 white or the 06 Black Cherry. I seen a Black Chery the other day (sunday5/18/08) on the interstate in Missouri it was heading north on I55 and i was going south dang near broke my neck trying to get a better look at it and thats when i made up my mind thats what i wanted. I go and pick her up some time next week in Kansas City so i you see a black chery heading east on 70 or south on 55 and you cant see the drivers face because of the smile then that will be me so just honk and wave. Hopefully i will see some of you nice people down the road one day and we can stop for some DQ ICE CREAM. lol lol:rotf:

what kind if any kick stand plate do you use and while on the road where do you keep it?

that is why we didnt buy the 1300T model wife said that the seat was to hard for long rides.

thanks alot STRACAT thats very nice of you to offer but i will wait and see which bike i will get. i am looking at two right now one is a 06 and the other is a 2000MM right now i am in between a rock and a hard space. This is the most freindlyst web site i have ever been to just say the word and people are here to help you out i like that.

i talked to you the other day i was the one who was thinking on buying her but you got there first so how does she ride? i found another one on ebay in Bristol TN a little high but i an thinking about it. good luck and be safe.

I talked to a local dealer and he told me that he will not carry the RSV but he does carry the other v-twins and he also carries the honda brands as well like the GOLDWING.

I myself like the emblem on the 06 like you said it made the bike a little diffrent than the others. I guess the emblem and the color is what i am after.

I have been looking at a RSV to buy and i see alot of them that have no tank emblem why is that? i am looking at a 06 and i have found a few but they have taken it off are they not wanting people to know what they are rideing? if i was to buy a RSV where can i look to buy the 06 tank emblem any help at all would be nice. thanks
