When i first signed up i didnt know what i was getting into but after being on here for 8 months and getting to know some of you and really liking this site and the people i realize that my sir name per say isnt what i really like and after going on the st jude ride this past weekend and people asking me well who are you on line and me telling them 1_2_ride_rsv. it really isnt a name as much as what i like to do. So with your blessing i would like to change my name if that is all right with you and the group. i dont think it will hurt any body cause i know i am not on anybodys buddy list. so when i was a teenager i seen this movie and CB's where real big back in 70's i went with the name are you ready for this ok here it is NAKED RIDER. Ok thats enough laughing from the peanut gallerie just let me know if it all right. thanks:bowdown:

what time do you think you will be leaving? i am going to memphis and me and my wife would like to hook up with you for the ride down. i think i read that you are planning on leaving at 5 so that would put you here at Cape about sevenish?

is there any way of pluging the tire if so you can get that at any auto store or walmart till you can get it done right.

drivere ed not required here but we got to checking and if he stays on the A or B honor roll it is cheaper that might be some thing to check on.

i meet a guy from IL a month ago and he has a 08 with the same problems. shakes and vibrates and he mentioned the chirp as well he also said that it lackes the power that he thought it should have gives it the throtle and it falls on its face i told him to take it back to the stealer to have it checked out have'nt heard back from him yet. -

i would say that it is for most of us any way is to feel like you belong to something either a group or a family which is what you get here to have the same intrest, same hopes, same likes and dilikes and enjoy what ever it is that you enjoy. JMHO.

what if any do you carry in a road side kit i.e tire patch, flairs, hand pump, fuel line, spark pluk stuff like that just courious on what i might need out on the road one day. the reason i am asking is the other day on a ride we had no cell phone coverage where we were at and i only seen three cars the whole stretch of road i was on passed and passed a couple of houses so that got me thinking about this problem.

i bought mine used some time in June and here it is already mid September and i have allready put a little over 6,000 miles on her.

I meet a new RSV owner yesterday. He had bought a brand new 08 black chery/black a very pretty bike. we got to talking and i gave him a card for the site. he said he loved the bike but he didnt like the noise coming from the motor told him it might not be the engine but the chirp that we all had or have but then i got to thinking that read on here that Yamaha fixed that problem on the 07 or 08 was i right or not but any i told him to take it back and have them check it out any way. I am sure i will run into him and his very nice wife again seeing how they are only an hour away.
