Prayer to the Great Shepherd are on their way. May blessings come their way as they deal with what's ahead of them, and may you and Marita find the peace that passes all understanding.

Looks interesting, maybe we can have some pics without the scoot so we can see how its put together?
-
Yep!!! just noticed that as I checked, got the boss on it I hope.

Although I can't remember if I meat him, I will sure miss him. He was like a mainstay here, a pillar, always there when he was needed and helpful to the end. I hope to see him again and make a good acquaintance for a long, long time.

Not much will be planned out at this point. Start of the gatherings will be whenever you get there, until the time you leave. Officially, if that needs be, the start will be Thursday Noon! Saturday plans to come up with a communal dinner, prepared by Ernie and Dave,, and can those guys cook!! Cost will be around $15 or so. No plans for music just yet, will have to see how things develop over the next few months. Hopefully we can have some competition in some games to help socialize, failing that we could ask @saddlebuma question. We will also have some suggested rides that could be an interesting visit, it's good country for that for sure. Ernie is also willing to cook for breakie and lunch and suppers/dinners, but he will need to know some numbers to be able to deal with that. I'll work that out yet in days ahead.

For discussion or questions you will need to post here: click Questions will be answered in the thread and here as well. My condolences for you and your family. May you all find joy in the fact that she could have been part of your upbringing and life for so long. Wishing the best for all of you. -
Welcome back,,,, and you are not the only one that's SpyderBound, the more you ride it, the more you'll love it. It's not 2 wheels, but sure will easily take the place of one!

Got some news today, now all I have to do is to clarify it all for you all, and get some clarification for me as well. More news soon.
-
I am in constant touch with NS. Ernie had a death in the family happen last week, so it slowed things up a bit. Will post as soon as I get some news.
-
Good to hear from you again, you would be sorely missed by more than Jean. Glad things are on the mend and pray that you may have at least a few more good years to enjoy your time on earth.

Greasing rear wheel pins and splines

I'm no expert here, but what you are showing is the pictures reflects the issues I had on my 85, until I went with Lucas Extreme, that solved the isssues. -
We have a very rich neighbor, a tobacco farmer. In the last years he has bought up quite a bit of the neighborhood property and farms. He doesn't own a boat, not even a small boat, airplane, fancy car, or even a snowmobile. He has property. Asked why he wanted so much property his answer was: If you own the property you control the neighborhood. Didn't quite happen that way, but that's another story. So his answer is simple: POWER!!! It's the one fault man has, his desire for more than what he was given and through that came all kinds of bad things: theft, greed, murder, adultery (and the spin-offs), and last but not least: disregard of the Creator. If we could get rid of the desire for power, more than what we've been given, there could be peace in this world. We would also be taking vitamin D3 on a daily basis. No money is ever lost (well you might lose some to me, or the other way around) but it is never gone, never poof! It ends up in somebody else's pocket. There are some pockets getting very rich over this pandemic, stinking rich. The owners of these pockets don't need the cash, they have more already than they could possibly spend in 2 lifetimes. So why the desire for more? Power!! One day soon we will all be ruled by those who control all the wealth. Gonna be interesting how that all plays out. Babylon the Great!!

There is no money in it!!!

Wow,,, don't rush me, I said,,,,,,,,,,,something,,, what did I say,,, can't remember now. Ernie was very busy last week, he said it would be this week for more info. Hopefully then by the weekend.

Can't let that go!!!! Reason you found those is that your mother probably had to use them a time or two,,, yah you made them look fancy and all with the wooden shoes,, but really they were called 'mattekloppers', used for cleaning floor mats and such, even the old style mattresses come spring. But the most use for them was when father wasn't available and mother had to threaten with the matteklopper, and I'm sure if you search back in your memory bank you will find the results.

In addition to that, when you change your oil, be sure to catch it all in a container, that way it's easier to save, to use next time around. You only need to have 2 lots of oil that way, rather than having to go buy new stuff every time.

No wonder you were left with a bad taste in your mouth, don't know of any place that is or was called Skyline towers,,, maybe it was American owned????
-
Yep,,, news news is better than just news,,, it's newer and fresher and doesn't ever go bad. At least that's my story!! Get ready for more new terminology.
