  1. Amazing how it all worked perfectly, now if they could only get some WORK done, or ride.
  2. If you have problems finding it or getting to it, post your problems, there's lots of help here, you know that. HEEEEEEEEEEY Pyyyyyro????????
  3. Back brakes were listed as not working, so you might need some fluid and a way to bleed them. As for the carbs, run it on WD40 until it warms up, often this will loosen some of the thinges necessary for it to work at all, and WD40 will do no harm to the cumbustion chambers, and it will also help lossen up any crud in the system. Use a spray can and spray directly into the carbs.
  4. You left out Pledge. Try it I love it, but am not sure about the time factor, that will come with age. This is the first year I've used it and so far have had two riders ask me if I got my scoot repainted.
  5. I could do it in Dutch but Flemish will have to be your department. You're closer. We get quite used to translating German\English so now it's your turn to do the Flemish.
  6. Ok I'l stick my foot in it, after all nobody knows me anyways and so can't point a finger and say: there's that dummy. Nackered: Finished, barenaked, all done in, nothing left.......... Cutting: A place of protection from the wind, most likely a build up of land to the right or left, or both. Could also be trees on the side of the road, or buildings. How did I do?
  7. Marcarl

    Thanks

So sneekie that I didn't even know about it, but you're right Brad, we have a great family.:happy65::happy65:
  8. And we're not sitting around waiting for parts or repairs, or out hunting the roadsides for what was left behind on the last trip.
  9. You lucky you wasn't pizza as well. Wonder if they charge her improper eye care?
  10. Try going to http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/downloads/powertoys/xppowertoys.mspx download IMAGE RESIZER. With this little gem you can resize your images to allow them to down load. Mostly the problem is that the images are too large to download and this will help fix the situation. It's only a small program and works wonders.
  11. If you haven't read all 25, read them again, and this time pay special attention to # 25
  12. Looks just like my scoot, same color, same year, mine just has a little more experince. Wouldn't sell mine for less than 5 grand today. Trunks on the 86 is a little different I think, went to replace the reflector on mine, found an 86, but the size was a little longer. Not 100% sure but they are different.
  13. Had the same toughts the other day, but kept forgetting to ask. Thanks for asking.
  14. You've got enough answers for now, so get to work and solve this issue. No good riding with a bum scoot.
  15. I'm sitting greaving for you as well, a senseless and totally unnecessary thing to be drunk and driving. A reminder for all of us though, got a friend? need to call them? don't delay, call today, for tomorrow may never come.
  16. Had to do a lot of reading between the lines, but for a minute I thought you had taken his scoot elsewhere, and then I thought you exchanged it for another. Good fun, that's what you get for sleeping on the job I guess.:rotf:
  17. Seems like we read from the same book and the same page, but just maybe a different line of instructions. That's great for all instruction need to be obeyed, if you get my drift.
  18. Have you ever seen the Angel sitting on the front of your scoot, or the one hanging on to the back? As was told to me once, God provides an Angel to ride on your car, one on each corner, only thing is if you've been drinking or are upset etc, they're not getting on when you go, and if you surpass the speed limit or knowingly do something else outside the law, they make themselves scarce in a hurry. If you haven't seen them, maybe a good time to ask for them. It may not save you from all your troubles, as this world is imperfect, but the thought is surely something to think about. It gives me peace and enjoyment on my scoot knowing that some one is there to help me out with the errors I make, and trust me there has been some of those.
  19. Isn't it nice to know that we do not have to be worried, for we could belong both body and soul to a faithful Creator who would not let a hair fall from our head without His knowledge? Doesn't mean that there will be no pain or hardship, but it does mean that each one of us can be held in His care no matter what the circumstances, even all those in our downline. Now he has also provided insurance possiblities, so maybe that may be a thought worth considering in the very near future . When I think those thoughts, as I often do, there is only one thing to do; look up, and be thankful for His promises and that he is still there.
  20. I always thought Ontario was bigger than Texas.
  21. It's a tough one for you and a good reminder for the rest of us. Pray that you will heal well and completely, and how's the scoot we all want to know when you get around to it.
  22. Ditto two
  23. Or how about an ALL SAINTS RIDE. We could do this over a period of time, say the 5 days mentioned earlier, and the post pictures of all the saints we have met. St. Petersburg St. George St. Louis St. ???????????????? We could include streets and towns.
  24. There's a post somewhere on this site on how to get it up, but it's quite easy really: When the scoot falls over, turn your back to the scoot, put the center of your butt to the edge of the seat, one hand on the handle bar and one on the back grab bar, and walk backwards, pushing into the seat with your butt, and up it goes. Be prepared to do this twice as the first time you may walk it too far and have to do the same from the other side. Mine laid itself down this summer along side a hyway while I was paying more attention to the trailer it was supposed to be towing. It only had about 30 seconds rest before it was back up straight once more. My wife had never seen me do this so she was on the high side trying her very best to give assistance. Boy that was hard work she said, and I kind of laughed and said: Not at all I didn't even sweat with you helping me. NOTE: experience is a good teacher.
  25. I almost did, but then remembered I'm in my shop and don't have bugs. Now I've been thinking, what can I do to get back at him. maybe we should have a contest to see who can bug him the worst.
