  1. TIME?????????????
  2. You should being as that is most important.
  3. Thanks for all the info, cold weather is coming, the scoot will be in for a total check up and then maybe we'll also get rid of all that static on the CB and radio. Still 3+ months to go til January, so until then it's status quo.
  4. Meet each other here, send a PM to who you want to converse politics with and go that route, MOTORSICLES is right. I would love to debate this issue but will do it around here, verbally, this is not the forum for this, and I for one want to keep us all on this forum.
  5. Bleed the clutch first and then if that don't help take the linkage right apart and clean and lubricate it well, all of it, before you go taking the clutch itself apart.
  6. The grass was a different colour here this morning, but it must have been a mistake because when I came home from church it was back to normal again. It had me worried though as to what was going on, maybe it just got moldy from not having to cut it all summer. We'll ask for your prayers to be answered as well, so that the Spirit of the Almighty might be a support for the both of you.
  7. Glad to hear that everything turned out so well, boy we sure can more when there is a need, can't we, and we can be thankful for cell phones. We will ask for your prayers to be answered so that they will heal quickly.
  8. There are rubber pinch wheels that press against little stems where with the tape is transported. Most likely these rubber wheels have some debrie on them and that causes the tape to momentary stick to them and voila you have a mess. Take a Q-tip and some contact cleaner to clean the whole transporter system, all the stems and rubber wheels and make sure all the belts are working. Inspect the wheels for any damage while you're at it and you should be good to go. Mind you, I don't think the 90 VRs liked heavy rock so if that's what you were playing, it may also be an issue.
  9. Carl will be there, just tell me where there is.
  10. Now a ride next Thursday???????????hummm have to think about thataone
  11. Sounds about right to me, in fact pretty well right on. Make sure the connections are clean and tight.
  12. So where is Hagens?
  13. Here we get a lesson on the English language and how to properly speak venture tongue.:rotf:
  14. That would depend on how busy they are and their level of ambition. Also whether they want to see you come back for your next scoot purchase. 'course here in lies a problem, how soon before you buy another scoot, will that be before your next car or will you buy 2 or 3 cars before another bike. Sooooooo if you already bought your ride and they don't expect you to buy another for quite some time....at present your just a PITA. jmho

    Good video

Sure we all like good looking scoots, but the image portrayed was one of looks only. It was all image, nothing on quality of motorcycle, ride, endurance, maintainance etc. . Harley didn't do rider safety any favours either by portraying the FREE image. . It was all believe..........now if you believe then I think you need a certain amount of faith, and I'm glad there were lots of riders at one point, so there was lots of faith.
  16. I'm interested.
  17. Learn something new everyday, wonder what we learned today? I already knew that these things tend to fall over, but didn't know they could lay there that long. POOOR GEN.
  18. Oh Charlie, it's just getting grey, don't look in the mirror first thing in the morning, it would even scare me.
  19. Scamper laid down this summer all on her own with the trailer attached, never worried about it until now that you asked, everything turned out fine, but I didn't stop to look to see if she could get more tired than she already was before she would come unhooked.
  20. Should be able to get one cut at the local glass shop and then paste it in place, I would think.
  21. Well I don't remember you telling us that you had 2 different handles, that would have been an easy guess and now I'm not the winner. Glad you got it fixed up, sure can get frustrating when things like that happen. Enjoy your ride.
  22. Wow, glad to hear your ok and left Sherry at home. I'll keep my eyes open for parts.
  23. I drilled holes in mine, 5\8 times four in the lid of the box, one in each corner. Can't say it's better or worse but the carb sound is great when I open 'er up. Keep in mind that only one cylinder draws at a time, so if the intake is only 1\4 the size of the total of the carbs............
  24. Just read this today, glad all is ok and God Bless.
  25. Try this thread, it should help you out, if it doesn't type in 'clutch' into the serch button and see if you can find the info you need. http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=9638&highlight=clutch+slave
