  1. Yep, know all about that. Less than 5 minutes to get things lost, whole job about 4 hrs. 3hrs 45 min on hands and knees checking out what was on the floor or elsewhere.
  2. Might as well clean the whole carb while you are there anyways. After you figure out the first one the rest should be the same.
  3. My first go to in your case would be to take the high/low beam switch apart and clean it and make sure it is all there and works.
  4. Marca and I decided to get the same helmets some time ago. We liked the grey color, so started with that, liked the HJC so added that to the list. Went to our local dealer and tried on the two they had, mediums were the choice. Hers fit right, mine didn't. We exchanged the units with each other and now neither was comfortable. Went to another dealer who had 4 of the right choice. One fit right, the others didn't. They said: no problem, come back next week and we will have 4 more for you to try. We did and they did. So all the helmets were HJC medium, silver color, 3\4s. Out of 12 'identical' helmets we found two to be comfortable, but hers is not comfortable for me or vice versa. I find it interesting how those thingies all come out of the same mold but are all different somehow.
  5. And partial removal of the left side exhaust to get at the lower bolts holding the stator cover in place.
  6. Always something! Anticipation is half the fun I'm told.
  7. Good thought,,,, We just attended our Grand sons wedding, all planned and organized by his Mom, that's what happened a lot years ago. Today though, on the whole we hire someone to do all that. We hire planners, caterers, musicians, bar tenders, DJs or a band,,,, yep, that's today society, lack of leadership and planners and definitely a lack of workers. My side of the family cleaned the place up afterwards, including the dishes, not even a offer for help from the other side, but they did keep the barkeeps busy. Good point!
  8. We seem to be getting plenty of those types, so many that we now have names for them,,,,, Karens and Kens.
  9. Sounds really expensive. Last year our prices were around $1.25L, this year $2>$2.25L. Big jump! And it doesn't cost anymore to get it out of the ground.
  10. No milk today, what does that message mean? the end of your hopes? the end of all your dreams?
  11. Yep!
  12. Put the pizza through the blender, it'll still eat. Glad your feeling somewhat better.
  13. Did you try to milk the 'cow'? Nice landscape, enjoy!
  14. By failed, do you mean it wouldn't dis-engage or was it slipping?
  15. keep in mind that a MC tire has a whole lot less rubber on the road compared to a CT, so a small amount of things being out with a CT could have a great amount of input.
  16. Just wondering if the squirmeness may have something to do with rear tire alignment. If it isn't dead-on I would think the results may be as are described. Loosen off the 4 acorn nuts on the pumpkin from the swing arm, loosen the axle bolt, shake it around some to make it all wiggle to reseat. Now snug up the axle, then tighten the acorns, then torque the axle. In that order.
  17. Glad you made it through, would hate to have to miss you!
  18. They may be called the weaker sex, but it don't mean nothin' when it comes to smarts.
  19. She had just filled the tank??? You just spent over $1k, but, but! Girls!!
  20. Not worried about the Alps, they will still be there a year from now,,,,, now the scooter holds more importance.
  21. Somebody got to use that fuel.
  22. And now you go for holidays and leave us all in suspense?? You got nerve!!
  23. I'm leaning very heavy on the shifter itself. The pivot bolt has a tendency to loosen and fall off. Take a look there first and then follow Puc's instructions.
