  1. SMART!!! Where did you learn that now?
  2. Soory about that Semi. I was missing the last few days, but even so it seems that our fellow inmates have you covered off rather well. But in answer to your original question, I don't know for sure but would guess about 1/2 quart too full.
  3. So does that mean you have new tires? are tired again? or asking to start a thread on tires for another round of discussion. Maybe you should get some sleep, you can get tired if you don't sleep enough,, but you'll find that out soon enough. If you mean you don't have to go to your place of employment anymore then don't be thinking that you won't have work to do. Have a great time trying to get in some R&R in-between all the new projects. Please update us in 6 months. Congrats.
  4. So much for saying that a Venture will run on anything, of course being 10 years old shows that the owner is a real, honest to goodness Dutchman.
  5. Sounds about right, at least for the first time anyways. From there a feller can create once he's got a bit of a handle on things. Can't rush good cookin.
  6. And lawyers who are looking for a buck to be made.
  7. Eating club with a riding disorder, just so you know, otherwise ask @Squidley. Amazon.ca. Less than $20
  8. Good point, and clean out the airboxes of any oil residue. Then clean ALL oil deposits, nice and clean and then clean again before anything else. The run the bike for a bit on the side stand, don't ride yet or the air stream will make it harder to follow the trail. Then maybe run it on the center stand or bike stand.
  9. We bought one of these last year. Nice thing about it is that you can smoke without adding any heat. We have a Traeger pellet grill, but although it does well it didn't give me enough smoke for my liking. With this you can cold smoke, so cheese is now also in the running. Fish turns out amazing. Caution though, in order to best best effective your grill needs to be blocked at the top, so the upper vent needs to be below the grill itself, or you will have to block it off with some tinfoil.
  10. If @stickhandle will be there on the 6th then I will make a Supreme effort to take time off to be there as well.
  11. Unless somebody else has other ideas, pull the pan and see how it fares out, worst case if it don't go back together you'll then have to pull the engine. Nothing lost then
  12. I never needed to get that bearing out of there, but by the looks of your pictures it should come straight off once you loosen the 3screws and that might give more info as to why and where the balls went. The plastic gear might have been damaged by somebody jamming the clutch basket back in place,,,,, maybeand then a real big maybe that a piece of the gear took out the bearing. As far as removing the oil pan while still in the bike???? I wouldn't. I think you would be better off taking it out. Getting it off would not be the issue so much as getting things back together proper.
  13. Further, I think it might be the oil pump idler part #26H-13351-01-00
  14. If memory serves me correct I think there is a plastic gear behind the clutch basket and it's yellow, and I agree with @cowpucthat anything laying under the basket is not engine internal.
  15. I really hope that he had found the way to everlasting peace, he didn't have much of that when he was here. Hope to be meeting him again in much better environment.
  16. You KILLED 'em! They were supposed to be dead already.
  17. Did you check power going into that fuse and coming back out? Also, check battery voltage with the ignition turned on. There are 2 red wires coming from the battery positive, follow the small on to find the main fuse.
  18. I could be back from vacation at that time,, oh wait,,,, I'm on permanent vacation,,,,, OK, I could be back from holidays by that time,,,,,,, Oh crap,, I am on holidays already,,,, so what am I doing? Not sure yet, I'll let you know for sure on the 7th.

    I'm Back!

I'm not in Kentucky or in Tennessee, but welcome back anyways. Don't think we've changed a whole lot.
  20. I don't know if it's written out at all, but you would be most welcome to go bigger.
  21. I don't thin that there would be one given thread on all that, but you should be able to find different opinions here and there. You'll need to tell us more about your bike and exactly what it is you want to do. If it's a first gen then post in the 1st gen forum, if it's a 2nd gen then in the 2nd gen forum.
  22. When I bought my Ram a couple of years ago, we had to do a little wrangling as well. I left and returned a few days later to pick it up for it had not been serviced yet. Last thing I said to the salesman was: so that's it? all done and happy? to which he replied: Yep, good to go! I still had a 40k bank draft in my pocket,,,,, I just couldn't do it! Later though I would have after I found out I wasn't dealt with near properly. Nice ride Don, enjoy!!!
  23. There will be more coming, hand your hat here.
  24. Gonna be backed up to the Linc I bet. Take QEW to 403 to 6 North to 5 to Paris.
  25. After Brantford. Take HWY 99 / Governors Road right into Paris, nicer road and just as quick
