  1. That's where friends come in handy.
  2. They want you cleaned up and showered before meeting everybody. Good first impressions you know!
  3. This post will get lost in this forum, best ask the question in the Watering Hole.
  4. Nothin better than QUIET. Gives a person time to think their own thoughts.
  5. 13.5 with the engine running is not out of norm. I would check connections first. Let the battery sit overnight and then check the voltage, it should be at 12.6 for a full battery, 12.2 is a dead battery.
  6. We're still here and don't plan to go away anytime soon, so more discussion can be had.
  7. Enjoy!
  8. WoooHooo what a wild time!! now don't tell mommy!! yah right!
  9. I wonder if some organization has actually totaled up all the costs, dollars as well as climate, of going electric. Costs of getting the proper materials and the costs of disposal, vs the costs of gas powered. I've seen some stats but nothing all put together. I got a sneeky feeling that electric ain't so cheap.
  10. Episode 15 is just amazingly awesome, sure defines the work you guys have been up to. Could be classified as the best ad that Yamaha could use. Are you going to post it here?
  11. Kind of hard to let go though,, isn't it. It'll come, slowly but surely,, until you run into another happening.
  12. Now that is a beauty!!!
  13. I would do a real close check on the battery cables, making sure that they are super clean and tight, not only the clamps on the battery, but also the clamps to the cables. Then I would clean the other ends of the cables making sure they are tight as well. If you are doubtful of the solenoid I would suggest replacing that as well and then check out the operation of the start switch by doing a by-pass. As an aside, the engine will not suck fuel out of the tank, the tank is too low for that to happen, so your fuel pump must have been working to some extent, or you might have plugged filters.
  14. Can't really say we have no interest, after all, we already have what we want, mostly. That's why we are on this site. That doesn't take away from the look of the scoot though,, it looks awesome!
  15. Always a good time with the VentureRiders, don't know why that is other than they are all really nice people and let me 'tag' along.
  16. I don't know, I wasn't there.
  17. Don't have any idea what you are talking about...did it happen today or yesterday and where was it when it flew away.
  18. Has a lot to do with the fact that man can forecast, but not control the weather. That belongs to a much higher power.
  19. I see some have one on the handle bars, hang in there, somebody might even give you directions.
  20. With the load you are putting on I would go to 40 lbs. 38 might be creating too much heat.
  21. Got them from Puc already.
  22. We could change the location if you wanted, 8 minutes away.
  23. Just so that you can feel better informed, Dutch Navigator is not German, and by the looks of what he (they) built and refurbished they are not butchers either. Now I give them credit, they do have music and good choice,, after all it seems to be DUTCH!
