Good choice, not that's it's perfect, but better than most.

We discovered that the same model is built different depending on where it is purchased. We bought ours at CTC but discovered that ordering parts or additions from Amazon weren't compatible. So caution. Good machine though, either way.

Look at the switch setup from the bottom, there may be 2 screws holding things together. Watch out for little springs and things, work over a towel or such. -

Take that battery out of the bike, charge it on the bench, then check the voltage after an hour or so, then leave it and check the voltage again in 24 hours. There should be little or no voltage drop.

Tear it all apart, clean, clean and clean some more. I talking the mechanics not the cosmetics. By the time you are done you'll know the bike inside out and have spent over 2k. Just so you know. It's an awesome bike and for some worth the investment, but it's best to be prepared. Start with spark and fuel. Make sure you have both.

That sure is one GOOD lookin dude, didn't know there was the 2 of us. Bet he attracts the girls just like me. It ain't me though,, I can't hold a beat in a cargo ship, let alone move may feet like him. At least he has something going for him,, he is now a celebrity.

Thanks for the info Don. It reminds me that sooner or later we all get to face that time, whether we like it or not. Best thing is to prepare for it while we still can. Tell others we love them, clean out the garage, setup will and testament, know what happens after this life, inform the right parties of funeral wishes etc, tell others you still love them.
