  1. I am a bike owner and I also am only 5 feet 3 inches.I bought a vstar 650 and loved it but when ever I went on a long trip it always seemed like I needed another gear or more power on the open roads.I then sold the 650 and bought my first 1100.It was wonderful. It was a 2001.I then bought a 2006 new and today I bought a RSV TRIKE.I love it even more.Take it from me you will wish you had bought the 1100.I have two 1100's for sale both with low mileage. One has quick release windshied and quick release hard bags.It also has highway bars and I am thinking about leaving the cb on the bike{haven't decided that yet}The 01 is just the bike and no accessories.
  2. another vote in, hope it picks up more.
  3. IS THAT A CIG IN LOWELL'S MOUTH!!!! i thought he quit smoking. nice pics, looks like everybody was having fun. be careful on the way home!!
  4. corbin will also give a free seat to the person that loans them their bike. they also have several nice bikes for sale on their site that they used for shows. they have a nice goldwing with a trailer, http://www.corbin.com/ .
  5. the bike is warrentied by yamaha and any yamaha dealer has to work on it no matter where you bought it. yamaha pays the dealers for warrenty work, so they don't lose money. i work for an a/c company and we sell trane system and we have to do the same thing if some other co sells and installs the units. if we would refuse, we could lose our trane dealership rites. with that said, we do put our own customers first in line for service and i think thats what a lot of dealers do. if they refused to fix it, just call tha yam customer service 800# and complain.
  6. hey, those are narley wooderson rider from lima, peru. LOL harley opened a plant there to get motorcycling started for the common folks.

  9. we went in 04 and had a great time camping out at hog heaven just west of exit 30, you go in by the motorcycle dirt track you see off I90. we only went downtown sturgis a couple of times for a couple hrs. there's soooo much great riding to be do in the area, your'e wasting your time in any town over 2 hrs. i even got interviewed on a doctamentory about sturgis called "a million motorcycles". it give a great overview of the history and the many places to ride in the blackhills area. http://www.cduniverse.com/productinfo.asp?pid=7019090 it's a good view to get you in the know and the areas to visit while there. you can go a week before the rally and most of the venders are there already set-up.

    #1 Song ...

i remember them all. tommy and jimmy dorsey was brothers. one of my best friends dad played with tommy and was in the army band with them during the war, intertaining the troops and playing gigs for uso and war bonds sales. he has a combo that still plays jazz and swing music. if you love blues, jaz and swing by big bands you need to attend the wc handy festival in florence, al. http://www.wchandymusicfestival.org/ i have several friends that play up there in the area and plays in the recording studios.

I have a great peanut butter cookie recipe that has no sugar and no flour in it .1cup of peanut butter 1 cup of splenda 1 egg and 1/2 stick of butter, mix and shape into balls place on cookie sheet flatten out with a fork, you can't eat peanut butter cookies without fork prints across them, and bake at 350 for 12 minutes. I also wanted to tell you that you do not have to stick your finger anymore you can stick your arm and the palm of your hand.good luck
  15. I too am a type two diabetic an have been since 1983.I started out as a gestational diabetic, anyone who doesn't know what this is ,it's diabetis associated with pregancy only and usually goes away with the end of pregancy. I have struggled wiht this for many years.I finally found a good doctor who has helped keep me on track. It has not been easy and I do get off track at times. The best way is to count your carbs, stay away from refined sugars and anything white ,corn also has alot of sugar in it.I cut out my sugar for a month to see if it made a difference. My aic went from 10 to 5.2 in one month.I do have neuropathy in my legs and feet and I can't feel when things are to hot.I also stay very cold in the winter so you need to watch out for this. If you will watch your carbs and sugars and keep track of your a1c it helps alot. You can get a copy of the diabetic diet from a hospital dietician and some insurance companies will pay for teaching.Good luck with this and I hope to meet you soon.
