Have had mine on my key ring since 1963 and it still work great.

Maybe it means we will get les rain and snow and more sun with higher temps.

Way i see it, is you have to wait for the temp to be 40 or better you mkust be riding a Harley. At 32 it rolls down the road thats warm enough with the right clothes and i dont mean heated gear. lol it is nice to see parts of the south still have snow as well. Lots of luck guy's and enjoy if you can just 17 days to spring. Joe

Hello Everyone! Wife and I are thinking of riding the Cabot Trail this year for our vacation. Would like to know if anyone has taken this ride and what your opinion of it is. We have nine days to do it in, our starting location whould be from Massachusetts. We will be doing the entire ride on land to take in the coast line rather than useing the boat trip from Main. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. Thanks Joe & Val

Some good ideas in theis thread to bad it stopped. Either way the main think i have learend is that life is not a diet. We are what we eat and i have finally learned to enjoy many of the good healthy food choices out there. As of June i have gone from 272lbs to 190lbs. I fell much better and have made my doctors happy. Biggest problem now is the same people who always said your fat now say to skinny. A good part of my weight loss goes to one of my 10 year old grand-daughters for reach up and tapping my 48 weaist and saying to me ( Grandpa you have way to much junk in your trunk) it helps doing it for yourself first as well as thoes you love. lots of luck to all that try

Bestem Bag for Trunk Rack - size/shape question
TopV replied to bamico's topic in Royal Star Venture Tech Talk ('99 - '13)
J have all three bags and they fit and work well. The trunck bag fit to size with little or no taper that i can see. In my opinion its a good investment. -
Tried the game at a friends house and it was fun. Tried to buy one but most stores are sold out and waiting till after invantory to restock. As for the weight any movment will help, but as for myself i use Weight Watchers. I go to my meetings each week and have managed to go from 272lbs in june 09 to 196.5 with a goal weight of 185. Bigest problem iam having is that all the people that use to tell me iam to fat say iam to skinny. ( i wonder if that is because i am now thinner that them?). Either way keep it up and you will make it. Joe Besides its cheper to buy size 36 jeans than 48

Nine is to make it to 2011, have already gone from 272 to 197 is six monthes useing the weight watchers plan. only thing is you have to go to the meetings and women get upset with you, lol due to the fact men lose weight faster. Just a suggestion (Lots of Luck)

I kind of like the idea of not useing a GPS, if i make a wrong turn it just makes my ride last that much longer. After all when coming back from Star Days 07 in Tenn i took a wrong turn and made it back to Mass buy way of Ohio. Got to see things i had never seen befor.

Just remember folks spring is right around the corner, so think warm. after all we can all start to ride again once the temp is above 32 and no snow.

Don't know how old you are Beer, But if your as lucky as some of us, you may make it to snuggle time one day and enjoy its pleasures.

I don't have the comfort of a garage, but did manage to put up a 8x 12 shead this year. Although it has wood flooring 1 1/2 thick i was wondering how it would be if i topped it off with rubber flooring. Has anyone tried this? Good Luck with the garage the foot print is almost the same as my house. LOL

64 here, father of 6, grandfather of 12, and husband of one lovely lady. She had never ridden until we married, and being as lucky as i'am she fell in love with it. Our kids think we are to old to go running around the county on a bike, but as we tell them ( you enjoy your life and we will enjoy ours). After all this is our second child hood and we are going to enjoy going to enjoy it. Besides we all pay for our own toys at our age. So be as young as you want to be and don't worry about the numbers. Joe
