So my name is Kevin and I just picked this little gem up from a Harley Dealer (in LaCrosse WI!) I guess they needed room for the ‘21 models and needed to get old Yaimi outta there! Offered $500 - they said yes.....with a docking fee of $100. So 6 out the door, $14.95 for the U-Haul bike trailer, couple bucks in gas for the 16 hour out and back to Michigan. On my first ride I got the pleasure of riding her while she rolled over to 100000.00. I did a quick look up in gratitude for individual that wrote all the oil change intervals on masking tap on the underside of the rt side cover. Did 300 to shake it out then another. until I could feel all the good vibrations and some of the bad, then a two up ride along Lake Michigan on Easter. Couple little things I’ll get to right away: new progressives (just arrived!)and rebuild rear brake caliber w/new pads. Last is my cute little oil leak by the kickstand. Has good tires, and halfway decent body. I think I’ll get another 100k outta her no prob!! BTW - if you know of anyone that left a beautiful Yamaha at a Harley dealer in LaCrosse let them know she’s running great and thanks for such good care‼️ BTW- In My first year of recovery from alcohol addiction I bought one in 30 pieces, put it back together, road 3000 miles on it within a week Promptly fixed a few more things and back together again.Painted it nice and blue. Rode it for a while and eventually sold. Here I am 17 years later. Feels like a dream....sounds like a dream....handles-well....like dream. heck it might even be a dream!! Been reading hours of forums here to refresh my memory banks. Thank you all for taking the time to keep this thing alive and kicking!!
