The boot looks damaged as if something pushed out. I'm guessing the screw was loose and was moving around and stripped out the piece it was screwed into. remove the zip tie and have a look. -
I will be putting this in the dash and wanted some input on the best way to wire this. https://www.amazon.com/DAMAVO-YM1236-Charger-Automotive-Installation/dp/B08DFR571Z

mother of god!!! I just looked up the 2009 V-max and it has 200HP!!! I was wondering about conversions since I read that the V-4 in the RSV is based on the V-max motor but I had no idea the HP was double. I've done some more reading and I guess it is possible to get the V-max motor into my RSV but the cost would rather high then again I'm not sure I could trust myself with a 200HP bike

I did it again, I wasn't looking for a new bike (yes I was, M109R) but somehow I discovered the Royal star and now its sitting in my driveway Hi my name is Eric and I just brought home a 2009 royal star I live in Illinois on the Wisconsin border. I have owned over 10 bikes ranging from an RM125 to viragos, CB750. GS550E, concours,VTX1300 and so on. my first ride was last night and I can say it was very comfortable and has great pickup to say my new bike is super clean would be an understatement

I have watched a lot of videos over the last week with people who are using the OEM Harley exhaust on their royal stars, has anyone here done that and what are you thoughts.

I just bought the bike last night and seem to have a problem finding neutral, I'm droping down from second but seem to hit air and have to mess around to get it in to to neutral. Is this just one of those weird qwerks every bike has? 2009 royal star -

Thank you for the response I currently own a vtx 1300 Honda which also has the same reputation for longevity. You mentioned valves are you talking about a valve adjustment?

I'm currently looking at a 2009 royal star with 62,000 miles, the bike is in near showroom condition but I have no experience with this motor or bike and would like some input on what is considered to many miles. Thanks forcany help.
