Now that was funny I was laughing out loud all of her answers

I really like the radiator cover. It looks great

Like Art says, The fuel light should come on before you have to switch to reserve.
-
When I have to go on reserve and go straight to the gas station I've got nearly two gallons left in the tank. I have ridden sixty miles after going on reserve but that's as far as I would want to push it. Dennis

Very touching and it is amazing how somebody with the gift can make something artistic with such ease. It is the same with musicians. They make it look so easy that you think anyone can do it. Dennis

What an incredible trip. My 22 year old daughter has been to Europe three times. This summer she spent three months there. A month and a half by herself traveling around. She saw Austria, France and England among several other countries. I got to see lots of pictures. I would love to go but first my nephew and I are going to see the United States on our bikes. Your dad is a lucky man. Dennis

Could I get some more information? I live in Lake City, Fl. (North Florida). Therefore I figure Sebring is too far away from me, but I really have no idea where that is. Dennis

I sure is dumb! RPM's, Whining, etc

This is just what I do. You say you stay in third until 40 mph. If I were you I wouldn't go into fourth until about 55 mph. Depending on the road and the distance I usually ride 55 mph zones in 3rd. Dennis -
I'll turn 54 in December and have a twenty year old daughter in Flagler University. Luckily she comes home every weekend or I go to St. Augustine to see her. Her growing up is killing me. To the twenty seven year old with the Venture. I had two Goldwings and a Venture starting at the age of 23 so I don't think that it is odd at all that you ride a touring bike. Dennis

My nephew is interested and would like to know the payoff and how many miles the bike has on it. You can e-mail me the information and we would appreciate it. Thanks

I also installed the risers. They put me in a more relax postion. Now I'm not leaning forward with my arms stiff. Like everyones said the cables have enough length, but just enough. One thing I did was to cut the zip ties that bundle the cables and then replaced them after I got the risers in position. Other than that just pull hard to get all the slack you can out from under the gas tank. As far as the rubber dampers I just don't use them and have noticed no vibration because of it. I've had the risers on two years. Yes the handlebars will now hit the plastic cover around the igntion switch when you turn the bars all the way either direction. The only time it really hits is when you lock the steering or are backing up. There is give to this plastic cover and again hurts nothing. Dennis Hayes

I know what you mean. I managed to touch it, but had already done the spark plugs and air filters and decided that was enough for one day. Had to leave something for later right. Dennis

I went to the Clymer.com website for a repair manual. All I could find was a manual for the 1999 to 2003 Venture. I have a 2006 Venture. I have heard that nothing has really changed on the Venture. Will this manual be all right for my 2006? Thanks. Dennis

I went to the Clymer Repair Manual website and all they have is a 1999 to 2003 Venture manual. I have a 2006. Nothing has really changed and this manual should be fine, correct? Dennis
