Morning Dray! Looks cold up there in the Far North:snow2:. I got up this morning to clear sky and sunshine:sun:. Forcast looks good, so with a little luck and some melting I should be "riding high" by Saturday or Sunday! ROCK ON DUDE! Gene

Welcom, Always good to have another Venture Rider! I to am new to this site and have found the folks here very friendly. One thing to watch out for! Some of the G1 riders seem to have Venture Envey, so be carfull I think some of them bite! Post some pic's when you pick up your new ride!

35 or above if the wife is going! I don't care about temp. Really, take a look at my pictures, over 10,000 feet at 0 degrees,on the ice! Just got to love it! Top of the world, in the winter, on a motorcycle!

Hey George, The Venture is "made for 2 up" no question the most comfortable out there. Before I started riding Ventures, my wife of 29 yrs would rarly ride, Now I can't keep her off my bike! I ride in Rockies all the time. Plenty of power.

Speaking of Winter Projects, I ordered some additional chrome about a week ago for my 07 Midnight! They just called and it's here:dancefool:. I'm leaving now to go pick it up from the dealer, then home to put it on my Bike:cool10:

Looks like it's warm enough there to ride today! I's going to be nice here in Colorado today also! Why don't you jumb on this afternoon and take a ride! I am planing to be out on the bike for a while today also. We can take a ride together in different States.

NO PROBLEM, riding in the cold is not so bad! Just gota dress for it! (not sure it will put you to sleep though). Nothing like a big cup of hot coffee right after a cold ride:97: Have a great day!

If you have 2 cameras, you can take a picture of where you left the 1st camera so you can find it later.

No BIG fish in Colorado. I do Fly Fish in the Mountian rivers and streams! Usually up around Fairplay or Winter Park Colorado, Ultra light gear #18 fly (hook) with 2 # line. Almost all "catch and reliece". What a blast! Gene

Do you know if the Diamond R front seat back rest folds down to make it easy for the back seat rider to get on the bike?

If you don't mind me asking, where did you get the 1 1/2" risers? I have a friend that is looking for somthing like that for his 2002 Venture.
