Thanks Jeff, I will check that out, yes I have had seats off, actually with this site I upgraded clutch and have added a couple relays. Wife is almost always on back. Thanks again

Jeff Conversion was done July 2011, I am the original owner, am I correct in assuming the rear lights are LED? They appear to be. The conversion was done by dealer in Erie,Pa. Needless to say I am a bit mechanically challenged but with the assistance of the guys on this site I have taken on challenges I never would have attempted.

When ever I checked the lights and such the bike has always been running they have always shown good flashing and brightness. I did notice immediately after conversion that the flashing seems faster.

Bongo, yes front flash, have good light, do blink fast, rear lights do blink better with Trike running than when not running. Riding yesterday my son in law , who also happens to be a State Trooper was behind us mentioned the turn signals last night when we got home.

Rear are LED's from conversion.

The rear turn signals on my 05 RSV Hannigan Trike are very weak and intermittent. Tails lights and brake lights are strong and work well, but the turn signals are. Barely noticeable. Any ideas where to look.

That is what I am referring to. All bolts appear to be in place but the right side has a lot of play. I can't see where anything is missing.

I see a lot of post for splitting the fairing but my inner fairing seems to have a lot of play on one side. How is the inner attached to the bike?
-
Has anyone added the Hannigan Reverse option. Curious how it is working out and how it works?

I replaced the OEM windshield on my 2005 RSVP with a xtra large Clear View. Now the 3 bag windshield bag does fit due to the clear view being angled at a sharper angle towards rider it doesn't slide down between dash and windshield. Has anyone managed to come up with a alternative way to attach a windshield bag to a Clear View Windshield ?

OK! All is good. Went back through and reread Carbon One's posting again. I had two wires switched on the relay. Corrected and all is good.

Decided to start Trike and go for short ride, didn't work. Everything dead except Radio. Over the winter I installed 30 amp relay for ignition as per Carbon One's directions, also a bypass toggle. Trike started up just fine. Reassembled everything and put trickle:detective: charger back on. Today was first time back at bike and nothing. Voltage indicator shows battery is fully charged, alarm activates ,flashes lights and radio works. No dash, headlight or running lights.

It does stay in gear, Fourth gear does slip also at high revs.It started around Labor Day while I was away from home. It's a 2009 converted to hannigan Trike. I have 46000 miles. I rode it around 300 - 400 miles since this started to get home from Vermont. Took her out today and got my memeory jogged. I am quite mechanicaly challenged, but have tackled some issues. Thanks for the feed back- 17 replies

Gears 1 thru 4 seem fine but when I get into 5th gear and try to accelerate it seems to be slipping, If I'm at around 45mph and start to accelerate 5th will start winding and accelerate very slowly. If cruise is on and I'm going up a hill it will kick out the cruisse and I need to downshift. Any thoughts are appreciated.

I have the filter wrench mentioned in muffinman's post, never had a problem. I jack up the rear end of trike enough to get drain plug started and filter. Than lower bike level and finish removing items by hand.

I have done mine with the Rust Olem Garage floor kit from Home Depot. Easy to apply and has held up great.
