    Ok, maybe a bit of a weird question but can someone tell me how loud a stock RSV sounds? Previous owner had to have changed the exhaust on this bike. Sounds like a dragster waiting for the light to go green. Like a rumble but this is not a Harley.

    Ended up using a Dremel to slot the hole in the grill guard just enough to push it on to the pin on the radiator. Drilled a small hole on each side of the slot to use a tie to wrap behind the pin to keep it secure. Can't see the tie. Don't like "modifying" parts to make them work but seemed my only choice. It's on, looks good, mission accomplished.

    Anybody put one of these on? Looks like you have to drop the radiator in order to hook the grill over the pin? I see where the pin on top of the radiator goes up into the rubber grommets. Have to disconnect the hoses?

    Thanks........I'll have to look into that. I don't ride a lot at night if I can avoid it but if I have to, I want to be able to see bambi (and be seen by oncoming cars) way better than I can with the stock headlights on it now. No where near enough light.

    Thanks, was looking at those. Looked at changing the headlight to LED but then I'd have to change the driving lights as well. Might just try the bulb first.

    Stock bulb doesn't put out enough light. Looking for suggestions for direct replacement bulb or even a new headlight if that is the best way to go.

    Got it. Thanks. Might try a little engineering of my own here. Got a picture in my head of what I want. Would lift towards the rider seat vs swinging out for rider mount and dismount.

    Would like to see the video if you can tell me how to get to it. Have the use of a machine shop.

    Anybody know of or looking to part with a set of armrests for a 2008 Royal Star Venture please let me know. Need them for the wife's piece of mind.
