Well if you drove to Fl. you had to have come right by the house and you didn't even stop by, or call to meet up somewhere:confused24:. You know that you were more than welcome to stay over. We would have fed you, put you up for a night, whatever you needed. Oh well, anytime you need us we will help out. Hope your mother is doing better.

Cindy and Dale, probably haven't said it enough but knowing you dale and haley, know that you are in our prayers daily and what ever God leads you to do we will understand and back you up. We can only imagine the pain that you are going thru and we know that what ever you decide will be best for Haley. Personaly with what you have said of the laws there the decision you are thinking of and protecting Haley from the trial would be best. May God give you the grace and courage to endure and do what is best for your family . We love you all.

Hope it works out for you Buddy. I know two jobs can be rough. I work a little overtime and a extra detail sometimes on days off and thats a pain, but the extra money is nice.

The two cross pieces at the bottom are straped to the jack, the frame actually balanced pretty well. Also have a bungee cord to the handle to keep it from going out as we place the rock on top. My wife and I each had a step ladder and we would climb up, set the rock centered on top and once it was there it balanced real well. She would stay on the ladder and I jacked it up closed to the ceiling and manuvered it in place before final jack. Worked real well.

Worked great, can manuver in and finish jacking up. Finished the ceiling today.

Had a good visit with Leeway yesterday and last night. He showed up yesterday morning and it looked like rain but cleared up and turned out to be a nice 75 deg F day, so we took a pleasant afternoon ride and came home to some fried fish and shrimp. Rode with him this morning to the interstate in Slidel La and saw him off to Florida to see that grandbaby. Just heard from him and the rain caught up with him close to the Fl. line. That's two visitors this winter, one from Jrichard on his way from Fl to TX, another great visit. Don't know what happened to Roadkill:confused24:.

The leveling links only raise the rear end about 3/4" and wouldn't effect the hieght of the passanger to the windsheild, fairing or any other thing that might cause wind buffeting. The top heavy feeling at slow speed will be so much better and that she will like as well as you.

Can't believe I only got one reply, thought surely someone had this part left over on the kickstand from all the bikes being parted out. Oh well, thanks Eck I know you would have helped if you could. Anyway I now have another problem. I decided to just try and order it from flatoutmotorcycles and placed the order Sat. night. I was at work today and was watching my email to see if they were going to fill the order and up popped a notice from my credit card co. that there was some suspicious activity on my card. I called and sure enough someone had been charging on my card today (about six charges). They cancelled my card and are giving me credit to the ones that went thru. The last time I used the card was 12-28-09 and it made me wonder if someone at flatout got my card info today. The card co. is starting a fraud investigation anyway, hope they find the jerk. Haven't heard anything from them, but figured they wouldn't have charged my card until the item shipped. Now I will have to make other arrangements for the part.

I need the part that hooks to the spring on the side stand which contacts the kickstand switch on a 1st gen venture. This part has a 90deg. bend in it which makes contact with the switch. One of the previous owners must have broken it off because they were haveing trouble with the switch. I know the switch works but is sticking and needs cleaning and I would like to get this fixed. If anyone has a spare I would be glad to pay you for it.

With the tank pulled you have to take the dog bones mounted to the motor and frame off of both sides. 4 allen bolts holding the dog bones on, 2 on top and 2 on bottom. -
I had a Honda Shadow1100 and my wifes rear would kill her riding to my sons house an 1- 1/2 hour away so she said we had to get something biger if we were goning to ride longer and take some trips. We went in to see about a goldwing and as were looking the salesman walked up and she told him she wasn't sure if she liked it or not. She actually spoted it first and ask about this black and a black cherry Venture on the floor and we began to talk to him about it. He was from Arizona and had a 99venture for sale so after finding out that the wife liked the back seat better than the goldwing and I liked the classic look of the venture he offered a test ride on his 99, said it didn't matter if we wanted his or a new one he would work with us. Well I went to his house and rode his bike and the rest is history. We decided on new but waited another month and when we went back the salesman had moved back to Az., but we ended up with the midnight and we love it.

Got around to building some shop cabinets for my new garage. Getting a little better organized to give room to play with the toys.
