Great meeting you guys as well. Now that the ice is broken and we know we aren't that far away, need to get together. Any time you want to come south you are more than welcome. Great seeing you guys again as well. Hope you get your camper grimlins straightened out. Lew it was good seeing you and THANKS for all that you do for all of us, the kids, the rally, you rock. And yes we need to get off the stick and do it, a Louisiana meet and eat. And for all the others, old friends and new great seeing you all.

Beth and I made it back from St. Jude trip about 2PM today. Except for the rainy ride home we had a great time. We camped for the first time since the kids were small at Arkabutla Lake near Tunica,Ms. Had a good turnout for St. Judes, Thanks Lewis for the effort you put into this for the kids. And it was great that Nancy (MeanDog wife) could make it. Here is a few pics, will post a link to the rest when loaded on photobucket. Oh and Boomer and krew, sorry we coudn't make it to the casino, had a rainstorm at the lake about the time we were supposed to leave so we stayed in LOL.

I went to a funeral today of a very dear lady and friend whom I've known all my life from our church. I don't think she ever had any enemys as she loved everyone. Our preacher is from Florida and he is good natured and the lady who died (Jimmylee) loved to pick at him about the LSU tigers and him a Florida fan. He told the story today of how she would be going down the road and see a sign for LSU and say lets get that and put it in the preachers yard. So, she let it be know to the family and the preacher that she wanted an LSU funeral and her family obliged her today. The grandsons as paulbearer's wore LSU polo shirts and an assisting pastor wore his LSU tie and the Precher said he never thought he would preach in an orange shirt but he did today in honour of her. It was a good funeral service and here are some pics. The preachers came out blurry, sorry. Notice the LSU color casket flowers and a stand reef at the head of the grave in LSU colors.

Decided to try out the Elite 3 and when I went to order at southwestmoto I got a cetificate problem eror with the web site. I over-road it the first time but then there was an eror and the order didn't go thru. Tried again but got nervous about the message about a fake site stealing identity so I tried to look up a number to call and since they decided not to take phone orders they don't list their number. Well I have ordered 3 sets of tires from them and know that squid always recomends them because of what they did for Charlie, but they just lost my buisness, sorrry. First off you can't contact them about a problem since they have changed owners, second their prices are a bit high even with free shipping on 2. I tried american motorcycle tires next and the order went thru at app.$239 with shipping compared to 248 at southwest. Then got a notice the the rear tire is backordered for 3-4 weeks, they let me cancel the order. Checked another site and the rear was out of stock. Then denniskirk who I have used a bit over the years and last I looked they scarred me with that $5 per tire charge. Well it turns out that is the shipping and still was cheaper than anyone else at $224 total and change for both tires.

Want to thank Ponch for the plate and parts to install the gauges on my bike. If you are ready to make this install you need to order your parts from him. Everything went together easily and no leaks. The only thing I had to do was take my dremel with sanding drum on and work down the gasket on the adapter for the thermocouple on the water temp to fit in the well on the head and it sealed up nicely. I did make one booboo, I had the plate fit flush and marked and tapped the bracket to use the gromet from the casset player and after the install realized I hadn't tightened the part the holds the gauges on. So when I tightened it it pulled the plate in slightly but it still looks great to me. An easy fix would be to drill it out and install a nut on the back then it could be readjusted. Prayer sent for a speedy recovery. Went thru the same thing a few months ago and yes it is a good thing they did the ct. I will be on the coumadin until at least Dec.
