    Anyone have the driver intercom cable harness they can part with. Tried soldering a new plug on the end where it sits on the tank but just can't get a good solder on those little wires. If someone has one to part out please let me know and how much. Oh it's for an 86.

    Look under body and chassis and scroll down to adding windsheild air vents.

    When you click on the link look up top where it says technical library and click there a pop up will come down then click on 2nd generation. You don't have to be a member to view the tech library. I installed one on mine without a template. Traced the cover on a piece of cardboard and reduced it to match the insert. Had to sand or dremel to fit. Purchased mine at a honda shop, just ask for a goldwing windshield vent.

    The carbtune uses a stainless steel rods, very little maint. May have to take apart and clean every now and then, take one rod out at a time and place back in same slot as they are calibrated for each. To check if they are all reading the same you can purchase a couple of plastic tees and some hose to hook it up to one port for a simpe check. I've done this but never found them to be off.

    My 06 had the chirp bad, after four years finally did the I basket swap and it is virtually gone. Can hear it slightly at 40 to 50mph but not annoying like it was. Very happy now.

    Made it home this evening about 2:30PM from Don's MD, what a long ride back home. Think I took a wrong turn:confused24:. What a wonderful week. A nice ride up with Brad, Lonna, and Boomer, then a beautiful ride thru Penn., Va, and Maryland with Jrichard and Patricia (thanks again) and them putting up with Beth and I and for giving us a tour of Washington DC. Then on to Skyline Drive and down the Blueridge then over the Cerohala to Tellico Tn to my aunts house. Total about 2833 miles. We had a great week and :95:now back to work. Some pics later.

    The Boomer CPO arrived at my house yesterday around 7:30pm. He was supposed to meet up with Brad and Lonna but they got held up in another rain storm just inside of Louisiana. Don't know what it is with them two every time they come ourt way they bring the rain with them:whistling:. Any way they didn't get at our place till around 11:30pm and that put us late leaving this morning:confused24:. Well we got caught in another rain storm just before Nashville and peeled off the slab and ducked in to a hotel for the night. Was trying to make into Kentucky for a short day tommorow, but we will try to leave early in the morning and should arrive in the afternoon. If we don't show up send the possie, some of those pigmyies may have gotten loose:think:. Oh well this post was too long, look out Boomer is on the way.
