I've had them twice. first time they blasted not to bad ,second time had 2 in there. couldn't pass it so in the exit they went while i was knocked out, woke up with a tube hanging out of Jr. It felt like the nurse was trying to start a push mower when she pulled it out!!!! still makes me nautious thinking about it. They said I could go home after i used the restroom! It felt like a razor blade was coming out!!!!They needed to leave a tube in there for some time and the Dr. removed it in the office. Make ssssuuuuuurrrrrre they let the numbing stuff take hold before they go in to get anything if your awake. Don't ask how I know that. I hope you don't have to go the route I did my Bro.

:doh:know it really makes sense! I thought there had to be another wire somewhere. -
I have a 89 VR .My brother in law gave me his Ultra Classic Muffs and that is whats on mine, don't know if they are the same sound. I had a guy at work give me his stock stuff from a Night Train including chrome heat shields. I cut the stock nite train pipes and used the bend in the pipe to connect from the stock collector and then to the Ultra Classic mufflers. I needed to make a hanger from under the side bag frame to bolt each muffler to then cut and shaped the heat shields to span between muffler and collector. I will try to get some after pics for ya. I love the sound and the people that ride behind me say it sounds great also.

can you tell me or show in photos how to add the extra ground strap to the starter and what replacement selinoid did you use? And is your starter that spins like a top a 2 or 4 brush ? Thanks -
Hi, I was reading the posts about warrantys. My wife has a 2006 Malibu with the famous steering clunk, They said it is the Intermediate steering shaft making the noise so evidently they know they have a problem, my dealer said its out of warranty can't do anything. Should I call the Zone rep? And how would I get a number? Thanks Ron

I don't know if this works or not, but I've heard to rid tennis shoes of stink you put them in a plastic bag and overnight them in the freezer! Should work on helmet stink also. There is a product on the net, I think its called- What Odor- Saw it on one of Billy Mase infomercials WhatOdor.com

I was in Houston for the first time right after Ike for recovery help with the company I work for, my 1st morning there I received my dose of the spag bowl at 5:30 AM, that was when I thought I knew how to drive a big truck! After being down there for a few months I finally figured out signals are optional!!!!!! One nice thing is they paint Rt#s right in the traffic lanes also which makes it easier and knowing where your going helps too!! Good luck down there Brad

I didn't care for it but some swear by it with a 6 pack of your fav icy colds, good luck down there.

Does anyone know where I could pick up a '90-93 rear shock suspension w/ grease fittings already in it? I'm not real comfortable about drilling into my 89 to do the install!

My rear tire was an 01, but I know the original owner and mine only had 28k on it when I got it, so you really can't go buy that on milage. -
Drink lots of water, and don't let the sand get in where it shouldn't be!!! Stay safe and get back home to some more tollerable temps.

Left fork tube leak at dust cover.
Pappa Bear replied to Tony1M's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
You say you have one wave washer, check very carefully and see if they are not stuck together. A P/O of mine was evidentally in there and didn,t put it back together correctly. when I opened her up for the seals and springs on mine that is what I thought also till I began cleaning everything and found them stuck toghether. Good luck -

Those look like stock springs to me. My Progressives from one end to the other continually have the coils going from tighter together to having more space in between the coils. I'm sure someone has a pic for you My bad I guess I should have looked at the pics with my glasses on -
I say I'm tired but my better half says I'm procrastinating! Maybe she does know me better than I know myself?

I'm 5'8" and when I first got mine it was a combination of the weight, height, and that big fairing blocking the view. Like most have said its all about practice, I still use the old saying Be Prepared and think ahead. Now I am very comfortable on mine, well maybe not on stones cause its hard to get my feet all the way on the ground. Its always better to take your time than to be laying under that beast yelling for someone to get this thing off me!!!!! You'll be fine

My 89 whines also, pull in the clutch while rolling down the road and it stops. I believe it is the cut of the gears in the trans.
