Thats a good idea that workers eat first! :fatsmiley:And maybe we should have our better halves eat first for tolerating this habit of motorcycles we have!

OK its a round pipe, so why cant they have a deflated balloon made of heavy rubber kinda like the fire dept uses to lift cars, just long and straight. then slide it into the pipe and inflate? Maybe a temp fix but it would give time to make a perm repair! IMO

If you put the Progressives in you probably won't even need air in the front unless you are a pretty good sized dude! Just sayin!- 7 replies

Could you imagine the cops riding one of those, no use running just go ahead and pull over!!! -
Wow, How weird, I fell down the steps leaving for work the other day but luckly nothing like you Earl, and back in January I injured my back in the same area you did lucky for me no surjury required yet. Earl you will start feeling better but do not try to rush it-- please take my word on this, you will regret it if you push to much. Don't listen to what you think your back is telling you, listen to the pros. Prayers are sent my friend, all will be well.

You should join up. Tons of info and how to do's. I was just like you a couple years back! I joined up and what a group of people are on here. They can tell you how to fix about anything on that bike--- well heck I now can propbably fix it, I've done all of my stuff and had her sripped down to look like a wrecked pile of whatever, but man does it feel good when you do it yourself and learn how to do it. Oh yeah,, we like to eat here!! Like at Freebirds:superman: maint day. How many more days????- 3 replies

I put mine up on the center stand and definately will be picking up a new bolt for the repair tomorrow. Just a little to much free movement side to side for my likeing. Will feel alot better about it being changed! P.S. a note of reminder for Dons maint day to bring your kickstand pad if you park in the grass along the driveway, last year I forgot mine and used a pair of vicegrips to lean her on, can't wait! Good times

and another thing, what would stop a guy from making some type of bushing to protect that bolt or are they breaking from fatigue?
