I haven't followed this story to strongly so the "he said > they said" are vague to me at best. One question though was the money he was said to be asking for Obamas seat to be used for his own use or was it to go for some "party" business? Either way it is BS and he does need to go. What ever happened to tar and feathering?

Anythings possible. The size of the average Venture rider would split this 3rd gen to pieces though. Can you imagine how big a semi tire would look to you on the interstate at 70 mph.

Great New Years here. Oldest son, now a drill Sargent at Ft. Leanordwood, Missouri was home for Christmas and New Year. First time in many years he has been home this long. Says he's leaving any day now. It's good to know we did something right!

When I read what you said Bill I could not agree more. This site is a daily visit for me if for nothing else than to find out how everyone else is doing. I haven't been able to make many gatherings to meet many of the members on here but the few that I've gone to have been worth it. It is refreshing to come to this site and know that there are good caring people all over the world who can bond for a few moments in their busy lives and not lead to controversy and name calling. Other than some fun picking on each other. If I have offended anyone on here ever I did not mean to do it intensionally. I just can't resist guess it's the nature of my beast. That said, I wish each and every one of you a HAPPY NEW YEAR and may you never have to ride behind a hog hauling truck.

A admitted MISTAKE by a woman is rare. It is like music to a mans ear. Now if they could ever pronounce the other two words that have never been heard from their lips. "I'm sorry". We could all go to Heaven. Leave this post to let us all remember that no matter how bad our days go we can allways come back here and feel good for a moment.

Done! I never fall for that "You don't have to buy me anything for christmas" line any more. Lifes a beach if I don't.

Lost me. Maybe this?

Nice job. I wouldn't worry about it being just a garage job. My wife has yet to let me paint anything in the house. Maybe sit on Ms. Santa's lap to help remind her of your wish list. Of coarse this only works if you've been nice.

In 04 we rode through yellowstone, that was boring. The fires that ripped through there really devestated the area. A good majority of the old growth forest was gone. Back in 74 I rode through there on my 72 Kaw and bears were quite prevalent. In 04 we never seen one, bummer. I kept telling the wife she would see bears in Yellowstone. Made a liar out of me.

Some say that Africa is the next China once the Geo-Politics problems are worked out. This will probably not happen until China implodes from all our money. Seriously has anyone ever bought a full set of end wrenches that were made in china were at least one of them in the set is not some mysterious size?

Thanks for the well wishes. Every day things get a little better {grandsons get older}. I was never around much when my two boys were this little. I was working on the railroad then with traveling gangs. One thing about now is that I have come to a point in my life when I can be at home to help with my grandsons through the day. Whew what a handful. I now know why when I came home from work in the old days the house was a mess and my wife was a wits end! As far a daughter goes I doubt that she will ever get her life on track. The old saying applies when it comes to her "You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him drink. But any prayers sent her way would be appreciated.

My oldest is home for the holidays. He has 30 days leave. The wife is already happier. All is good. It has been a rough year for us. Our daughter has abandoned her two boys here 3 yrs & 18 months and is pregnant again and living with said puke. Needless to say wife and I are stressed but hanging in there. Best thing is that he brought his new V-max home to leave it here for storage. Seems the Armys regs are becoming too strict for him to be able to ride it. So here it will sit {except for a occasional romp by yours truly}. YES!:thumbsup2:

Not to hijack the thread but I often wonder "What if you made a superstore that just sold things {made in America}? I'd be willing to bet you'd be filing bankruptcy in a week!:rotfl:Sounds funny, but is so true that it hurts.
