Mom and pops for us. It's the luck of the draw on how comfortable the beds are though. Some are really very fancy and some or just so so. But everyone is unique in its furnishings. We try to stay away from the interstate motels as much as possible. Since the G.P.S. with 6 million P.O.I.s we have more to choose from. Some have been quite a experience. Musts to look for at any mom and pop motel. 1. Flys in room. No kidding, didn't see them till we were there a few hours. So I started swatting them with a travel brochure. Picture this, a white room that looked as if it was a scene in a blood splatter investigation when we left.:rotfl: 2. TV that works. 3. TV remote that works. 4 HOT WATER Stayed at a old motel with 10 units in the 10th unit. Turned on the hot water and you could a bigger stream. Not enough water pressure to hardly come out the shower head. 4 inch bath that night. Beggars can't be choosers. 5.Never stay where there are work trucks in the parking lot. Most of these workers live there after working their job. Tend to be impromptu parties at all hours of the night.:guitarist 2:6.Never stay at a motel named Bates.

Lets see, telephone poles look like a picket fence = to fast. Wife or significant other not beating the back of your helmet = just right. Can't pass a Harley = to slow. Moped passes you on the right {berm} = way to slow. Hope this helps.

Haven't been able to make any of the national meets yet but did show up at the potato creek get-together back in the day. I do remember that the Venture ranger had quite a few goodies in the back that were given away that day. In fact I used the Ride ON in the 86's tires when I changed them. So Russ by all means drive it again. That seal is way to hard to fix.

Glad to hear you had a good time. Now, will you be handing out cigars in the near future.:rotfl:

To bad your friend was within earshot. A good comeback to his reply to you would have been " Thats OK I wouldn't want to slow your Harley-Hauler down, you go ahead!
-
No politics, nobodies fault, everyones fault. Batten down the hatches shes gonna blow. Seems early , but everything seems like its going to fast lately. Guess its just another complaint of old age.

Go to a big parking lot and practice awhile. Pretty soon you"ll be smiling. :wel_ani4Tay:

The last shot {bird flu} has me scratching the ground with my feet. If I get this next shot {swine flu} I'll be rooting around looking for grubs. NOT FOR ME! After reading on how they make the shots they give you {BUG DNA}. I've had a buzzing sound in my head and have had a diversion for staring at bright lights recently.:rotfl:

Trials riding that heavy brown will leave a mark. A slowwww roll is good. Beats the heck out of a fast one.

Nice, very nice. -
Hang in there Dan. Don't let them get the best of you. Insurance companies drag their feet just to wear you down. Get all your i's dotted and your T's crossed. Whats right is right no matter which way you slice it.

Just the beginning. Way to go. Now get that future motocross great something on two wheels. Only one problem, don't think they make a straw helmet.

Look like twisted up exhaust pipes found along the interstate. They still have the rags wraped around them to pick them up after falling off.

Charlie the saying " Its not the ride, but how you get there" definitely applies to you! Keep it up. Myself, I rode to the local BS spot and had breakfast then drove tractor all day.

Received mine today. Thanks Dan for doing this. Now if someone would give detailed instructions on how to install this on a first gen I would be grateful. I plan on installing it this winter when I'm up to my elbows in snow and bored to death. -

More power, better aerodynamics and the speed to leave them in the dust. It should carry a bigger flag!:rotfl:

Ok, if anyone knows how to stop the rain PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE make it so! We normally on a average have about 6 inches of rain a summer. This year we are somewhere around 30. It rains everyday or everyother day. We've had 4 days straight without rain all summer. This s##ks. If this is what climate change means. I'm planting rice next year. OK, thanks for letting me vent.
