No big trips scheduled just some 2-3 day jaunts now in then to see some museums, caverns, civil war sites and get away. But you never know.

I use a old Vindicator tank bag on mine. It is a strap on bag that has snap style fasteners on the four corners of it. This lets me remove it at night easily. There was a discussion about weather you could use a magnetic style tank bag on the Venture along time ago. Being that it is not recommended because of the Ventures electronics. There were some that were using the magnetic style and said that they were not having any trouble with them. I do not know how they were getting them to stay being that the Venture cover is plastic. But if there is a will there is a way. I use a GPS also, but there is nothing like being able to see a map for the big picture at a glance.

Boy, you guys are a hard bunch. Its not about the weather {it wasn't as bad as it looks} and its not about where it was {Mullenville, Kansas, Highway 400} its about oddities along the highways. Here is another spot. These were along some back road when we were coming home from seeing our son at Ft. Leonardwood Mo.. What state or road:confused24: . Should have wrote it down.

While traveling west this October we came upon this conglomeration. It went for about a 1/4 mile down the edge of the road and about 300 feet to a shed down another road. This is why we stay off the interstates as much as possible. Has anyone else found something like this in the travels? If so where?

Short wheelbase = 80 or 90 M.P.H.= ouch for me. You going to ride this when your done or look at it? That is the question.

Yep. I've had mine out a few times, lubed it up and it worked for awhile then back to sluggish. Bongobob gave me one. Problem fixed.
