Could maybe you didn't unbolt the rear downpipes from collector?

As the price of fuel goes up I find myself going to flea-bay more and more for things I used to drive and get. Things are becoming so depressed around here that a tractor part sometimes incorporates a drive of 60 mi round trip. Flea-bay has so many places willing to send whatever you buy "Free Shipping" that to not use it becomes a no-brainier if I don't mind waiting till it arrives. But that being said I have to agree with you that it seems there is almost too much on there now. I've bought over 100 things off of there and only had one bad experience with the guy not sending it but flea-bay settled it quickly. Deals are far and few between but using their search features religiously whittles down the flim flam.

You'll be climbing the stairs like this guy soon.:rotfl: Hang in there.

Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. I for one would be interested in your opinions of your new ride. Hey, you never know.

I had a friend buy a old 920 Yamaha without a title and he used the site MiCarl linked too. I think it cost him a little over a $100 back then. Here in NY you have to make sure to dot your i's and cross your t"s to get something on the road. But this worked with no problems for him. -
$1,400.00 and still don't run

The bad gas will plug up everything. It sounds as if you still have plugged carbs. You say it runs good above 6000 R.P.M.s at this speed your carbs are on the main circuit. If not this, have you replaced the spark plugs? These bikes will run on 2 or 3 clys. 2 clys it will run like crap but 3 cyls running is noticeable but not as apparent. Have you opened your TCI and dried it out ever? If not you could be surprised at how much moisture can accumulate in it. There are some excellent people on here that will chime in with some more answers . Don't give up you'll be fixed soon. -
Yep, I forgot. You know what they say its not the destination its the ride.It was a good burger though.

OH YEAH!!!! Now I see it.

My sons is in the garage now. Its a 96 he has added a corbin seat, stage 3 carb kit, new hi-perf exhaust, led turn signals, custom taillight, gauge windscreen and K&N air filters. I get to ride it when I feel like it. Its scary fast. Almost takes the fun out of morning coffee. I get there to fast. Definitely made for one purpose. Straight line!

Been here since August of the first year. We have only been to one meet, the first Potato Creek. Dallas was a hoot but all of you are are too. The camaraderie is what makes this site the best on the web thanks to all the moderators and the head POOBAA. The best 12 bucks ever spent.

I see absolutely no front suspension! Looks fast sitting still. No front suspension no thanks. But would still be fun to ride on a track.

You never have to chase a squirrel up a tree while hunting. They go up there by themselves.:rotfl: Now if you don't want to climb the tree to get him fire up the chainsaw and bring'em down to your level.:rotfl:

Everything you can. No one thing or mod will be the trick but a little here a little there eventaully will add up to acceptable M.P.G.. It's a never ending quest. Your handle about says it.

:rotfl: I know what you mean about junk from China. We weren't allowed to have firecrackers so we made our own. Take a match stuff it into a spent 22 cartridge tap down the open end {Lightly may I add} put it on a hard surface and hit it hard with the hammer. All was good till the end blew off the cartridge. I believe he still has the scar on his leg. That one warmed our butts. Sometimes its hard to believe we lived through it. China, land of everything. Even lighters that don't stop burning. Whoda thunk!
