  1. Kinda goes without saying.:rotfl: You're only as old as you feel. This place is like Hotel California. You can check out but never leave.

  3. The slipping means your behind them. Quick pass time. Oh, redhead child. Now go to your room and make HD noises. With the discontinuance of the Venture there is room for a new site. Maybe Antique Venture Riders.

  7. Found this..by Chris F Member since:August 25, 2007Total points:386 (Level 2) Add Contact Block Best Answer - Chosen by Asker i know how you feel. this code is a very common code to set on many asian and american vehicles. one major thing that happens to these nissans that may or may not cause the vehicle to run poorly is the air intake boot. it is a tube about 2 1/2 inches in diameter that goes from you air filter box to your throttle body. this boot rubber can get torn and a tiny crack in it after the mass air flow sensor(MAF for short) will allow too much air into the engine and the computer will not compensate for it (after the mass air flow sensor it can't measure it. only air through the MAF sensor will be measured). The other common problem on this code in general is what is called a vacuum leak. there should be a vacuum diagram sticker on the bottom of your hood (it might be somewhere else but always in the engine compartment.) try to follow this diagram as best as possible and see if one of the small vacuum hoses have a leak or might be disconnected completely. the only other GOOD possibility i can come up with, and this is a last resort(price), is a faulty MAF sensor. this part however needs a quality repair shop to properly diagnose it using a digital multimeter, a scan tool, or a combination of the two. Reading other things too, like rodent damage to wiring and hoses, plugged pickup sock on fuel pump. Hope this helps.

    Wing is gone

Riding to a motorcycle meet in a convertible car would be alright with me. But only if you show up with the top down on rainy days also. That way you can still be miserable with everyone else.
  9. Any luck yet on that measurement check?
  10. My best was 52 but routinely get around 42.
  11. For World Peace. :rotfl: Like that would ever happen.
  12. WHY test?
  13. Alls I can say is "Thirsty bunch".
  14. Sounds like you fixed the problem. The next time you go to bleed any system first build a negative balance bottle. Take a used clean pop bottle drill a hole in the cap big enough to stick a clear hose that fits over the bleeder screws. Put some brake fluid in the pop bottle enough that the end of the hose is in the brake fluid. Take the hose and make a circle of it and hold it as a circle by using a zip-tie, somewhere between the cap and bleeder screw. Bleed away! This helps by not letting any air get back into the system on any short throw pumps.
  15. No offense, but what color was that LUV in its better days? A restoration is a labor of love, money and time. Sweet endeavor.
  16. Congratulations, 29 years of sheer wedding bliss.
  17. A son to be proud of. Kudos to him and you.
  18. 20 miles on that passenger pad for a seat and his wife will be banging him up on the side of his head telling him to forget her ever riding again.
  19. All them circles, I think I'm going to puke! More fuzz there then on a cashmere sweater.
  20. Prayers sent.

  22. My 83 kick stand cutout didn't work one time and just about did the same thing. I was leaving a friends driveway so my lean wasn't to far but far enough to quicken the heartbeat when it happened. Years ago there was a accident in my town because of the kickstand being left down. The guy went down and slid underneath a pickup truck that was parked on the road shoulder. He was left a quadriplegic. The subsequent lawsuit that Honda paid I believe started the engine cutout or the rubber tipped kickstands that are on bikes now. In the process of proving if the kickstand was to blame for his crash the lawyers hired professional stunt riders to duplicate his crash. They stopped traffic and had these guys intentionally crashing. It was quite interesting to say the least. Their findings must have done the trick for his lawsuit he was awarded millions. Glad to hear you are OK Carl.
  23. When riding fast following someone through the twisties. I have to ask myself WTH is wrong with that guy. I find myself wanting to stay up with him just to see when the ut-oh thats gonna hurt happens. Especially if its a older {fart} guy.:rotfl:
  24. Swifty, you well darn well you were stirring the pot on here but you did it anyway. Now we have to hear from these leather butt cheek showing. loud, obnoxious, tattoo wearing others. Telling us how we should all thinkride.
