I don't know if it is worth all that trouble. Have you considered vents to direct air flow? http://images.motorsportdealers.com/common/MediaLibrary/CatalogImages/62/250/744556207.jpghttp://www.powerpartsplus.com/pages/catalogs/detail/26/207/407/3664/1/0/0/1/4/90/68/330/tinted-lower-wind-vents.aspx

Not long ago, I saw a website/post on an LED light strip that mounts in the gap between the trunk lid and the passenger back rest. I've been looking online for the past two days without any success. Can anyone help? Has anyone come across that? Can someone post a link or point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I am looking for the original THROTTLE ROCKER, it appears that it was discontinued and replace by THROTTLE ROCKER II with the Velcro strip. I was hopping some one my have NOS of it. I rather have the Throttle Rocker than the Cramp Buster, I think it is more ergonomically correct.

From one of AMA publications. If you think distracted drivers are potentially dangerous, you're right. What's really scary is how many drivers are multi-tasking out there on the road. According to a recent survey from the industry group Network of Employers for Traffic Safety: 10% of drivers have done work-related tasks while driving, either by reviewing notes, talking on the phone or using a computer. 18% have applied makeup while driving. 32% of drivers admit to having read while driving. 39% have tended to children while driving. 51% say they use a cellphone while driving. 70% admit to eating while driving.Once they crash how difficult is it to throw everything on the floor and tell the officer "It was an accident" Be careful out there!

Don't use an allen key:no-no-no:, get yourself an allen 3/8 drive socket set. After all the bike is metric:).

Hey, :confused24:I just posted what I remember reading about it. I did not make any judgments. Although I think I would have done a better job. As far as what Native American Indians received any money probably the one who made the most noise. Besides if Indian is not politically correct why should any Native Americans feel they have any rights to it that name. As far as the quality it did not matter which engine S & S or the other. CMC was a s***t bike to Begin with. Over priced over rated and it fell apart even if the motor did not.

I will be in the Great Smokey Mountains in the middle of May. I guess I can make a special stop to help resolve this RIB CHALLENGE! :whistling:

I know it will be a big sacrifice, but I volunteer to be one of the Judges.

Ok, it is time to buy a backrest. I need your help. Diamond Accessories or Utopia? In the picture they look almost the same. Either one looks like it would match the stock seat. I know how the Utopia mounts but not the Diamond Acc. I think they both fold for access to the passenger seat. Can they be easily removed without hardware sticking out in between the seats? Can they be pretty much universally adjusted, and more important, will they stay there? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

This what I used in my trailer. I recess mounted the flat plate flush with the floor and it is great. There is also a garage plate to display or work on the bike upright. http://www.discountramps.com/mcImages/bike-pro-chock-20106B.jpg http://www.discountramps.com/mcImages/bike-pro-ducatti.jpg

This bike has nothing to do with the old Indian Motorcycles of the past other than the name. Years ago when it became cool to resurrect old marks there was a big fight for the Indian mark in the courts, if I remember correctly between an American Native tribe, a Canadian business (apparel manufacturer) man and others who claim to have the rights to the name. The decision was made by the courts: Native Americans were awarded some money, Kawasaki was fined for the bike they made the Drifter (look at the picture below, which I think is more like the old Indians with its blackout chrome and satin engine side covers than any modern bike). Whomever was awarded the Mark was required to build a certain amount of production bikes per year in a hurry or they would lose it. That is when CMC (California Motorcycle Company) a Harley clone bike manufacturer united with individual with the rights they slapped the name of the tank & were done. Afterwards they designed a complete new motor to make it look more like an Indian, instead of using the average looking S & S. But last I heard poor quality control led to their demise. http://www.motorcycledaily.com/vulcandr.jpg

This is not about car against motorcycles, this about responsible operations of motor vehicles in general. Just because I choose to use a motorcycle or small car for transportation (as someone put it I choooose to ride a bike) I am partially at fault because I should have been in a 3 ton SUV. Hello! someone needs to think things over. And I am not part of any lynch mob, matter of fact I want to see if we can do anything however small to reduce these incidents. And they are not ACCIDENTS. An accident is not only something unintentional but also something you had no influence over. If you however unintentional make an error while operating a vehicle you neglected to do the right thing. GET IT NEGLIGENCE!

I currently use a Schuberth concept. Top notch quality and the first one with a built in dark visor, a bit pricey but best fit at the time for my big noggin. This HJC will be in the running when I decide to buy a new one. Here is the new Schuberth Concept. http://www.schuberth.com/uploads/tx_pxscrollitems/uni_tiefschwarz_01.jpg

I was on it last year in April. Me and my buddy took the Dragon (129) heading North-West, 72, 360, Cherohala Skyway (165), back to 143. It was fantastic. Take a look at the picture with me on my Venture and my buddy on his BMW. http://www.tailofthedragon.com/maps/dragonloop.gif
