    No they do not have to be Road King mufflers to fit our RSV or RSTD however they need to be muffler from a TOURING model. While I can't figure out the names of the Harley models, the only one that seam to be easy to remember is RK. The other thing is, when did Harley decided to put cats on their bikes? and why only one side? Anyway the early non cat muffler are going to be more and more scarce. I picked up a set from a later model with a cat on the right side. I installed them with no modifications and I am happy with the sound. I would take some credit for going green but only on one side? Go figure. Cat or not they sound the same and do what I wanted out of them.

    Those are the ones I am talking about. GREEN MOUNTAIN NATIONAL FOREST in Vermont and WHITE MOUNTAIN NATIONAL FOREST in New Hampshire. I will be at the Americade on Friday and than head East on Saturday.

    Got the same set for my wife no problems here. I only hear the click if I am hooked up before her, than when she plugs in I hear the click. I say if it is happening when you are riding I would check all the connections.

    I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at VentureRider, for you help, answers and recommendations, I just finish with my bike. I replaced the handle bars with the Flanders, new brake lines and cables, they work fantastic. At 5'7" now I do not have to reach forward anymore. I used the complete OEM grips assembly and they worked out perfectly. I replaced the OEM mufflers with a pair of Harley touring ones (without drilling anything out) I picked up on e-bay. I used the 31-9920 clamps and they are perfect. A friend manufactured the bracket out of aluminum and polished it too. Everything went on just as I have read here. Now I have the sound I was looking for. Yes here are the pictures. Thanks again everyone!! BTW thank you to also Don for your help as well as the site. I do not know of anyone other than another Venture Rider can tell that anything was done. Mission accomplished.

    Well I would definitely try to get on the first row. But also figure on at least 2 safety car sessions. I told you passion #2 F1 Ferrari look at the photo. btw have you notice how close Ferrari and my last name are?

    Any prediction on Sunday at Monaco. I say whom ever is going to win, needs to qualify on the front row. I just want any car to pass the finish line first as long as it is RED.
