  1. Will the Diamond R fit the RSTD. The web site only list it for the Venture.
  2. Wife and I are also going there for Star days. We are going to stay in the Kettle campground in Eureak Springs and make the drive over to Rogers for Star events.
  3. The screw should go all the way in. with the stock grips there is a chrome spacer that fills the gap.
  4. I have a 35ft work and play that works great but you need at least a 3/4 ton pickup to pull it. has a 10ft garage in the back with living quarters up front.
  5. My wife and I are going. We are taking out toy hauler and will be staying in a campground. I am from star chapter 160 out of Cincinnati and will be rideing a white tour deluxe. Hope to meet some of you from this forum.
  6. Did something similar years ago when I went to pickup a new V-STAR 1100. Had a young teenager from the delear showing me all the controls on the new bike. I told him I didn't need any instructios as I had been rideing bikes longer then he had been alive. Went to start the bike and nothing when I hit the start switch. Tried numerous times and then told the kid something was wrong with the bike. He reached over and turned the kill switch and hit the starter and the bike started right up as advertised. Talke about feeling stupid.
  7. I'm not sure about kersone but I leave fuel oil in my storage tank that is left over from one winter till the next and have never had any problems with my oil heater in the house. I do change the inline filter each fall before I start the heating season.
  8. The 5 year warranty that comes with the RSV and RSTD is not an extended warranty like the YES plan. It is the basic warranty on these bikes. Cost 0.
  9. Go to a marine store and get some marinetex. I have used it on fiberglass boats and repaired holes that were all the way through the hull. You can also repair engine blocks with it. It is easy to use and can be painted to match.
  10. I was also told by my dealer (a very large Yamaha dealer) that the warranty follows the VIN number and I didn't have to do anything as they took care of it. Bike only had a 1000 mikes on so I wanted to make sure the warranty was good.
  11. I rode the bike to work today. Couldn't resist. Loved every mile of (40 miles round trip).
