I spent 15 year in Altus and have been to and thru the Wichita Mountians many times, just watch for the buffalo and rattle snakes, Great area. The Quratz Mountians and Lake Altus is also a good area to ride. Great food in Medicine Park.

I don't know about all motorcycles but the RSTD is almost impossible to fuel without geting some kind of splash back even with low pressure pumps. With a high pressure pump it will splash back eveytime. I use a paper towel to keep it off the paint. This might work better. Yamaha for some reason put a metal baffel just below the filler neck and this causes the splash back.

Help, here is my problem. I have LED tail lights on my Hannigan trike and they are suppose to blink three times and the go steady when you apply the brakes. They work fine when I apply the brakes with the engine off but with the engine running they work fine for the first two times you apply the brakes but then on the next brake application they start blinking and don't stop blinking as long as you hold the brake lever or press the foot brake. The problem only occurs when the engine is running. I have checked all the grounds and it seems to be getting good ground. I have even run a ground stright to the battery. Any ideas?

Need help...To Trike or not to Trike? That is the question.

I have posted pictures of mine and so has Cougar as well as Gunny Butch. Just look under the trike section on the forum. The Hannigan web site also has pictures of a Venture with the hannigan kit. -

I just had my 2006 RSTD triked using the Hannigan kit and couldn't be happier. My reason was for health, bad shoulders, but I love the way it handles and rides. There are numerous kits out there so you will have to decide which one fits you best. I can only comment on the Hannigan conversion and I can tell you that it is first class. It will cost you a little more than some of the other kits though. I went with Hannigan because of the supension, the quality of the components and the looks. All of the supension and drive components except for the differential are from the Honda CRX sports car. The differential is from a ford thunderbird. It has braided stainless steel brake lines and michielen tires. The fiberglass is very thick and blends well with the lines of the Venture/RSTD. I have people tell me that it looks like it was factory built by Yamaha. Which ever way you go I think you will be happy to be on three wheels. I find I am much more relaxed now and can ride all day with no fatigue. Good luck with your decision. -
Trike it, problem solved. I agree with you about the design. How hard would it have been to put a dip stick on these bikes. My wifes Honda Shadow had a dip stick.

Cougar, my builder told me that it is real critical in how the input for the cruise is adjusted at the differential. You might have them check there. mine seems to work fine. -
What is Ride on and what does it do for the tires? Too the trike out for a short ride this afternoon and what a sweet machine. I took to it like a duck to water. It is different from a two wheel bike though.
