Same here although I don't think I had as large and offset as you did Goose. Looked rather large on the X-Ray though. Hope you're healed up quickly Lonna!!

Wow!! What a shocker first thing this morning. Can't say how relieved I am that you two could walk away from this thing. We all love you and are praying for you. Lonna, know just how you feel with the broken clavicle. Take care you two!!

Hey Don, if the brakes are a problem, don't worry, he'll probably just fly right past. :rotf: I do hope you're feeling better soon though!!

Need direction
gibvel replied to Daggett's topic in Venture and Venture Royale Tech Talk ('83 - '93)
Gee, I thought my Mom and Grandma were the only ones who used that phrase! -
Boy are YOU behind the times!! MP3 player, removable so you can take it to your computer and upload music.

Got mine in the mail yesterday as well...Very nice! Very, very nice!! Thanks Don!!

No I haven't used them but, I think, I'd go that way over the heated grips. Must say that mother's battery operated gloves sound interesting...wonder how many miles the batteries would last and if they'd heat sufficiently.
-
Don't tell me. When your hands get cold all the blood drains out of the tips of your fingers and they turn white and numb, right? Have you thought about looking into heated gloves?

Thats just cause the mail carriers up there know it's from him so they're holding it for ransom!! :rotf:

How in the heck did it get there with no return address. I sent something up there with a return address but no name on the return address and the darn thing was lost in the mail for about 6 to 7 months. It was finally returned stamped with something about not enough information on the sender or insufficient return address or something like that!!

The Air Fell Out of My Rear Tire, And the RideOn Didn't Seem to Work
gibvel replied to 86er's topic in General Tech Talk
Did you have ride on in it prior to the nails going in? 1. Ride-on is supposed to be used before any puncture. 2. I think the second nail was in an area that is iffy as far as ride-on being effective. Glad you were able to get the scoot home and nothing bad happened. -
I'm hating you about now!! :rotf: We got about 6" of snow and yesterday saw a high of about 28º. Just Kidding. I'm so happy for you. What a memory!! I'm sure it will last for the rest of your life and be something you'll think about and maybe even recreate every Thanksgiving. Hoping that next year is a better year, health wise, and you'll get to make so many more great memories of many more great rides!!

Wonder if this is caused by holes in the exhaust at the weld at the "Y" in the header pipes right where they go into the slip on.

Nope. I get up and go to work at about 1 every morning. On Saturday's, I get up about then just to exercise, do laundry, practice for worship team and other odds and ends around the house. I know, I'm weird!! Sunday I sleep in until 4 or so though.

Sounds like a good idea, but what am I supposed to use to inject it? :rotf:

Thanks, believe it or not, I don't ski so no worries there!!

Got a 1st, 2nd and just got a YZF600R so I'm used to going fast no matter how you slice it!! Selling the 1st gen though, just gotta be able to ride it out of the garage to take pictures of it.

Saturday morning...don't work on Saturdays. But the people in the ER were curious what I was doing jogging at 1:00 am.

Basically, my left hamstring has been a little tight lately. Going around the first corner I came down on my left leg and it just wasn't there for support and down I went. Hit my left hand then rolled and hit the back of my shoulder . Absolutely looks worse than it is. Don't know where all the bruising comes from. Actually, the clavicle doesn't hurt as much as the rotator cuff but I've been nursing that for a few years now. We'll see what the doctor says in a week or so about that. Nothing really hurts THAT much unless I do something stupid. As for the bike, I would love to be back on right now and I didn't ask the Dr. because I know that I don't want to test the shoulder with the weight of the bike right now. Just know that the shoulder would lose if the bike went over too far so I'm not going to risk it.
