Maybe a load resistor, but then that defeats the purpose of using less current from the stator. If your sole purpose is for it to be brighter, and have the same current draw as the normal bulbs, then you could put in a load resistor. There's less resistance with the LEDs so your computer thinks that your brake light bulbs are burnt out. This is the same reason the turn signals flash faster when you have LEDs in them.

Are you talking Signal Dynamics or Custom Dynamics? Couldn't find anything on the Signal Dynamics page for tail lights.
-
What brake light flasher did you get and from where?

Congrats. Amazing, isn't it!!

If you get a pump, specifically for the shocks, it should have a button on the pump to let air out a little at a time while still watching the gauge. [ame]http://www.amazon.com/PROGRESSIVE-SUSPENSION-GAUGE-MOUNTED-GP3-60/dp/B000GU1BZC[/ame] I've got a progressive pump but you can get Harley branded progressive pumps at Harley dealerships for a good price usually. Another nice thing about them is the no loss chuck so it doesn't let air out when you take the chuck off or put it on. You want one that will go to 60 psi because the rear shock will take over 50 psi.

I just got an email from my service provider warning me of the exact same scam. Death sentence for scammers and hackers!!!

Don't think you should have a 2nd gear problem with an 85. If the serial number is after 0001413 then you should be good to go. I'm referencing this post by another member for that info: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=2922 Oh, and welcome to the forum!

Well, considering that the sparks are going the opposite way of the wheel rotation, I would say it's definitely photoshopped. I've seen this photo without the sparks. That definitely would throw off the handling of the bike drastically.

Are you sure it's the battery and not the ignition switch? More details on what is happening may be helpful This may be a helpful link if it is the switch: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=512

Alright Brad... Whadja do this time? Congrats you two!!

Noticed that difference in my wife's sets when I installed them in her helmet. Like the idea of putting some foam behind them to get them closer to the ears. Just bought the Symax II helmet and I'll give that a go when I get around to installing them in that helmet.

Ed told me that these are meant to be used with earplugs at higher volume. They sound better that way. So this may be the discrepancy between some loving them and some hating them.

Daddy has a Star Raider. I figure she could inherit that!

That's what I thought but she sent me a text saying that I "can't spoil her too much"! To which I replied "Spoil is now my middle name".
-
She said hello to the world at 8:10 pm last night. 6lbs-7oz. Her name is Tirzah (Tear-zah). In Hebrew it means "She is my Delight". Her middle name is Joy... Okay, now say them together and roll your eyes. Hope it doesn't scar the kid for life. (Christy's middle name is Joy also) Pictures are of my daughter, Christy and Tirzah and Luke Tirzah and Christy.

Go here: http://www.venturerider.org/forum/showthread.php?t=3384 , click the link put in the "human test" letters you see and download the manual. There's also a service manual available here. Okay, I take that back. Looks like there's only the service manual available there. However, if you want the service manual as well, go for it. -
CRAP!!!! We've got 9? Shoot, I'm only on #1. I'd better get going then!!

I don't think its a matter of not WORTHY. I think it's a matter of that someone doesn't want to put themselves in a situation where someone might be injured or killed because they didn't wear the gear (even though people have been killed wearing the proper gear as well) To some, seeing that kind of thing, really effects them... emotionally, physically etc.. Add that it's happened to a friend into the mix and it could be very bad on them. There are some things that I avoid because I know how they will make me react. I think they just know that, if something were to happen to someone in the group, they would react badly to the situation so they are just trying to avoid the situation totally. So I wouldn't take it as a slam that someone is NOT WORTHY.

Okay, no need for pictures... :rotf:

Then where the H.E double hockey sticks are the photos?

I do believe there are a combination of factors at play here. I've noticed that ambient temperature has a good deal to do with it as well. On cooler/colder days/mornings the chirp doesn't seem to be as bad as on hotter days. My guess is that, as the oil thins, the chirp gets worse. Strictly a guess and what I've experienced on my bike.

Actually Snarley Bill did this test a long time ago when he had his RSTD. If I'm not mistaken he said the sound almost went away completely. When I got my Clearview the sound changed noticeably. Not saying that it decreased as much as it changed. There was a very high pitch component to the chirp on mine. It was the thing that I found most objectionable. When I got the taller clearview, with the re-curve, that component either went away or was reflected elsewhere. The chirp is definitely not as killer to me now as it used to be. So, what I'm saying is that the windshield DOES make some difference.

Turn Petcock to off position. Disconnect hose (over container) and drain fuel remaining in hose. Pull 2 bolts out of Ignition switch cover on top of tank. Pull cover off. Disconnect fuel level sensor plug and vent hose. Move headset connection cable out of the way (hang it from the handlebars or something) Remove seat Remove bolt at seat end of tank. Remove 2 bolts (1 one either side) front of tank. Depending on how much fuel is left you may want to get someone to help you lift the tank off and place it gently out of the way. That's pretty much all there is to it.
