    GOOD health for me and my Harley ridin other half . She also got a new computer and a new winter coat. My better half got me (thanks to YamaDuck) A new seat for my MM , man its pretty and so comforatable guess she finally got the hint after riding and listen to my cryin about my backside and leggs ... lookin forward now to a looong road trip we are planning for Oct to go see my Dad in GA and kids/grandkids and sister in Fla. via NC and returning thru ALA. Other than that had to work on Christmas day ... but after 20 in the Navy and now working for the railroad it kinda a norm,,,at least i wasnt lookin at water as far as the eye could :mustache:see. God Bless those whom are over seas protecting whats left of our great country... For them there are no days off !!!

    Thanks to both of you .. First i changed out the fliud and it got better... When i got home i broke out the torque wrench and to my suprize the right side axle bolt was very loose... i think the problem is fixed find out tommorrow on the way to work ...thanks again Andrew:fingers-crossed-emo

    My 2000 MM RSV started doing something very uncomfortable on me yesterday. While 2 up i applied the rear brake and for lack of better terms fellt a bad studder at the rear wheel . After that when just cruising along i could feel it slightly. But everytime I put on the rear brake it was rough, lots of front braking on the ride home. Checked brakes this am everything tight and alot of pad left. Anyone ever had a rotor worp?? Or any suggestions? I just changed out my rear shock after it blew out on a ride from cheerokee nc to gatlinburg tn. try no rear shock on mountains roads.. very interesting.. Anyway if anyone has had something like this happen please let me know .. 55,000 miles changed pads 4,000 miles ago do have a lowering kit on the rear. cannt think of anything else to add thanks!!!

    Bet the CB was burning your ears off .. Try that with an HD wouldnt make it..Kinda like the time my wife was knitting on the back of my RSV . had to turn off the cb...lol:rotf:

    Still prayin and hoping for the best... So far this has made me once again to rethink which helmet to wear. Its a shameful thought that it takes something like this to wake some of us up...

    :080402gudl_prv:Was in Gatlinburg Tn. this past week and saw 2 different Ventures . Ok 1st one was Silver and was parked next to Hillbilly Harley . Went inside when i came out it was gone. 2nd was in the Ware.s valley area near Cades Cove . This one was Blue i saw it twice but couldnt catch it as i was in my cage. If it was someone on here let me know. Both had Tn tags. Also in Springhill tn there is a MM that i see alot trying to catch them but never gotten the chance anyone know who it might be??

    I need to change my see due to leg problems ..(thanks navy) cannt ride more than 1 hr without a lot of pain . had the butler mod done and it didnt help. so a black set would be great... Or even a tan none moded one ..

    While in the Navy i spent 1 Year in Iceland what a great place !!! At least in the "summer" have some very fond memorys of landing and skiding a full 360 in a P-3 on the ice.. yeah baby the good times of my youth ... Have fun the senery is like none other.
