    I got caught in a snowstorm when returning to Ct. from New Jersey on I-95 North after completing a Patriot Guard Mission....the Venture handled it very well but it was still a white-knuckle ride....and it felt like my pucker factor was off the scale too. Boomer....who sez the pygmies stayed home for that long ride.

    As loud as the Stebel is I'd say any location on the scoot will work fine. I have mine where the OEM horn used to be on the right side next to the engine(using Carbon One's mounting bracket)....thinking bout adding another Stebel on the opposite side tho just for cause and effect. Boomer....who sez a RPG mounted on de scoot would be purty nice too.

    For that kinda money you could ride to every Dairy Queen in Loozeeanner, Mississippi,and Texas.....and never be COLD. Boomer....who sez it's nice to have a tan all year long...and wearing long johns is nothing more than a vague memory.

    I run Seafoam on a regular basis in my scoot....2 ounces for every tank of gas. Auto Zone is good about putting Seafoam on sale pretty often so I buy 3-4 cans at a time.This past July 4th I changed out my plugs when they had 60,000 miles on them....and the old plugs looked brand new coming out. I run the NGK Iridium plugs and can't say enuff good things about them. Boomer....who'll take year long riding down South any day compared to being snow-bound.

    After enduring 39 Winter's in Noo England I have to say I DON'T MISS IT ONE DARN BIT!! We here in Loozeeanner might have to deal with a hurricane once every few years BUT we can ride to safer ground....and hit a lot more Dairy Queens on the way too. Boomer....who sez it's nice to ride ALL YEAR LONG instead of watching the snow fall and pile up.

    As Kenny posted earlier I made it home last night at 9PM. The ride to do the Dragon has been on my Bucket List for several years now. It was great riding up with Kenny, riding the Dragon with he and Cowboy,and of course the return trip to home. The roads in Cowboy's area are sheer joy to ride. Cowboy riding his 2nd Gen is watching poetry in motion for sure. The man knows the roads and his riding skills are the best I have ever seen. I'm paying the price for 3 days in the saddle but darn it was worth all the aches and pains I have today! To Kenny and Cowboy: Thanks for the friendship and the riding time together!! A special thanks to Beth for the fried chicken supper on Friday night and the gracious hospitality of both Kenny and Beth. Boomer....who left no pygmies at the Dragon nor any motorcycle parts in the "Tree of Shame" at Deal's Gap!

    Kbran,myself,and a friend of mine will be riding the Dragon on the 30th of October. Riding the Dragon has been on my Bucket List for many years now. I have no intention of doing a hot ride....just going to ride easy and enjoy the road. Boomer....who sez the pygmies will be left at home for this ride.
