When I have a clown climbing up my tailpipes I generally wait until we are at a red light, get off the bike and approach the driver, and ask the fool if he is looking for trouble by tailgating me.....

Thanks for the info Peg.....Question: Why do the wiring inside the headlight bucket? I'm thinking of doing the wiring right at the handlebars near the Kill Switch...........and using that wiring on the GROUND side for the lights only. Do-able or not? Regards.....Boomer

Has anyone here ever used the GROUND on the Kill Switch to control the Yamaha passing lights? Is this possible to do? I never use the Kill Switch, and it would, IMHO, be a good use for this particular switch ........ Any comments/info is welcomed!! Regards.....Boomer

Free manure....what a deal! LOL! We had a few yuppies move into our town after they built their McMansions. Right from get go they started complaining about the local farmers spreading and harrowing manure on the fields. They even called in the local News Media to whine and snivel on local TV. One farmer (who I refuse to identify) made a fresh manure dump right in their driveways at 3AM in the morning. Whooooo boy those city-slickers went ape-s**t over that!! Those folks had to hire a local farmer to come in with a truck and bucket loader to get those piles removed and you can bet they were charged a hefty price too. Funny thing is.....After all was done.... them folks have kept their mouths SHUT and left the local farmers to do as they please with their land.

Be a good neighbor to that THIEF.....Have a dump truck full of fresh, wet chicken manure delivered.....to her driveway....at 3AM in the morning.

I just got that very same compressor this week. Rated at 300psi and the little rascal really does a neat job.....I inflated a 15inch car tire with it yesterday and was amazed at how good it works. The Manufacturer warns ya not to run the unit more than 8 minutes or it will overheat......It's not going to take nowhere near that time to bang a bike tire up to 45psi I assure you!

$4.39 a gallon here for 89 Octane.....Diesel is at $5.00 a gallon.....And I'll bet the prices will be higher by the time the sun rises tomorrow morning too.

I would think that if we are using our own oil for our own use there should be legislation in place that would prohibit the importation of foreign oil and also the exportation of our oil. Good luck getting the bums in Congress to accomplish THAT...... Remember we are talking about career politicians who can't even put a Federal budget together on time....and load the very same budget with enuff pork to feed the the world.

Feed prices for beef animals here is sky high and so is the price of beef......lucky for me I have a lot of woodchucks available........

None here in Connecticut but the writing is on the wall. The wannabe Martha Stewarts are howling about "loud exhausts";bikes running on bald tires; no helmet law; and bikers with large midriffs being unstable on 2 wheels............ Course these are the same dorks who drive a car with a cup of Starjunk in one hand and their cell phone in the other. -

I hear ya Condor. Our fuel prices here in Connecticut are climbing by 25cents a gallon DAILY. Diesel is at $5 a gallon! Folks in this Country need to realize that we have the oil within our own shores to take care of our fuel needs. That will require new drilling and building of new Refineries. Until Congress and the Courts stop playing along with the tree huggers/Environmental-whackos and allow these things to happen we are all in for a very rough ride in the next 1-2 years.....and the picture is not pretty in the least. Our situation today was predicted back in the 70's when we had the oil embargo.....Congress and the Courts did nothing then and they are doing even less now. Batten down the hatches folks....we are in for one heck of a storm. Note: China is preparing to drill in the Gulf of Mexico-within Cuban waters.....less than 80 miles from Florida......yet our Oil Companies are prohibited from putting any more oil rigs out in the same Gulf.

EddyG......I'm thankful that both you and your wife did not end up in the Intensive Care Unit as result of this Bambi incident! A good friend of mine had a run in with Bambi 3 weeks ago. He was just released from the Hospital this week. Bike is totaled and he will be lucky if he can ride next year. We have more deer running around here than Carter has Little Liver Pills. The Bambi Lovers have reduced the Hunter population to the point where it is nearly non-existent.

A electrical junction box cover with a long leather shoelace tied to it. I store it in the left saddlebag. When using it I loop the leather shoelace on the left grip.

Plugging the AIS should solve that. My 06 had that problem when I put the Baron's Nasty Boys on . Once I plugged the AIS no backfire or popping to speak of. There a good write up in the Tech Library here. Follow that and you should be good to go. Regards.....Boomer
