I did some checking on the clutch lever and found a push button switch to be out of alignment. (see pic 1) I put it back into position and it now works. (see pic 2). I have both the gear indication and the cruise control working. Thanks for all the advice, it helped steer me in the right direction.

Yes, from the dealer, had 34 miles on it. Indicator worked when I was driving it around the parking lot.

When I picked up my bike yesterday, the gear indicator was working but both times today when I took it out it did not work. Also when I tried to set the cruise control it would turn on, but I could not set the cruise. I don’t know if the two are related. I did see there is a fuse for the cruise control, but since it turns on I don’t think it is the fuse. Still searching the manual but if anyone has some suggestions, they would be welcome. Tried a different cord and it now charges. Thanks for the help.

Thanks, thought I tried with it on and in accessory. Will check it again this morning. Could also be the cord I was using so will try another cord. Hope it isn’t the fuse. Eric

I just purchased the 2018 SVTC and was checking things out. I can get it to play play music from my iphone X from the right-hand front pocket but I have no indication that it is charging on the phone. Per Yamaha info: Standard Charging Ports Keep your devices charged up thanks to USB ports in the locking right side fairing compartment up front and the rear tour trunk. it is suppose to charge. Am I missing something? Eric

I remember when I was an instructor at S8G prototype (Trident submarineJ and I was showing the battery rep the battery. The first words out of his mouth were “ I didn’t know we made them that big”.

Take pictures of the install. Should be interesting results.

How do the risers affect the use of the mirrors, if any?

Do you have a drawing/template of the brackets and what you used as spacers? I would love to add a set. Or will you be manufacturing some for sale?
