Was that 13k a MT and if so what brand? I only got about 7500 on my original stock tire. Trying a Shinko now. If I don’t like the mileage I get, will consider going to the dark side.

What type of mileage are you getting out of your Shinkos? Eric

SVTC CB Radio

I would think that since the CB only works thru the headset, that is the only set of speakers that needs to be turned off. -
I was there, but you left us without saying goodbye

Will it still lower all the way being 4 inches wider? I was looking at mine while riding yesterday and noticed there is not much extra room at the bottom for ti to go into. I would like a wider one as well as the recurve and keeping stock height. Following this. -
Happy!! How about Respectful, Greatful, Thankful, but not happy. We are honoring those that died in uniform. Nothing happy about death.

I finally tried out the cb today. Works fortunately. however there is a delay when you press the talk button and it only works the cb when you have that screen up, otherwise you get the other voice commands. I am just happy it works. Now I can have some fun on my club rides. -

=cowpuc;1077200]Outstanding EC = do the car show do you? No, I have not done the car show, just decided after getting back in the saddle to ride over the bridge. Been making it a habit. Thanks again for your service,, speaking of that, did you know about our clubs Honor Badges for those who have served?? Just asking cause I would hate for any of our service men/women to miss the opportunity to display that which they have earned.. Freebird,, I am still on the understanding that service folks like EC have to request their own Honor Badge? EC,, I would do it for you but I dont think I can.. If your interested and just missed it - the Badges are available under "AWARDS" on the line above next to "History".. First time I heard of the Honor Badges, thanks for the info., On another note,, I gotta ask again,, you being a Sub man if mem serves? Do you know Doug Blakemore from Evart?? Never know till one asks.. Yes, I am a submariner, No I have not had the pleasure of meeting Doug

I have been going over the bridge on Memorial Day every year since I got back into motorcycling, after I get thru playing taps at a couple of Cemeteries. Didn't go last year do to weather, but this year with the new bike. Screw the weather, I am riding. I also tried to get a vanity plate for my bike but you can't do vanity and military on motorcycles, autos yes. So I chose military.

Fender mounted brake light
ecbaatz replied to ecbaatz's topic in Star Venture and Eluder Tech Talk ( '18 - Present)
I found the correct connection. A gentleman on in one of the groups I am on on Facebook pointed me in the correct direction. -
2018 SVTC I am trying to tie into the fender-mounted brake light to install a smart brake light module from Safer-turn.com I only want to tie into this one since I have a backoff brake light module installed in the trunk light and I am not sure they will work together. So my question is, where is the wiring for just the fender brake light? I am looking in the service manual as well, but it is not the easiest thing to do. Inspection of the light on the bike is not possible and as usual, it is buried behind splash shields and whatever. Prefer not to do a major disassembly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Eric

I have a 1/2 mile driveway that about 1/4 mile of it stays icy for a long time. I just put the bike on the trailer, take it to my church parking lot unload and go for ride.

I use them on my 96 Suzuki VS1400 Intruder and would get about 9000 miles out of the rear. Front could about double that. They handle well and grip the road well. Of course I don’t push the bike as hard as I could. i found good prices for them at rockymountainatvmc.com if they have your sizes. Order and 3 days later at your door.

Will check it out again, thanks for the heads up.
