  3. We were out riding a few months back, and we were passing a big rig. just as we got past the rear wheels of the trailer----one of his tires blew!! The sound alone scarred the crap out of us. We were happy though we were in front of the peices that went flying back. The car behind us got damaged from the tire.

  7. I would suggest splitting the forward fairing and disconnecting the plugs for the radio and such located right side and clean them and coat with some dielectric tune up grease.(permatex brand) then plug the connecters back together. I had close to the same prob's you are describing. Search the threads and you will find procedures to split the fairing and you'll also find the remedy for your situation Hope this helps

  24. Peggy and I are just back from a five-day vacation in Townsend, Tn. Went up just to ride the mountains for a few days. Had some very heavy rain for two days but the sun did come out eventually for the afternoon hours and we got in plenty of riding. We rode through Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Lots of tourists even midweek. It is beautiful beyond words there, even in bad weather and the pictures do not do it justice. Had some slight issues with the trailer that had to be resolved. Fortunately, it fits through the door so it spent several nights in the hotel room with us!! Rode home today through the park to Cherokee and lots of back roads most of the way. Hope you enjoy the pictures.
  25. I made it to the Lincoln Monument 3 times and drove home-- Before I got the Courage to go down to the WALL Thanks Black Owl for the video
