Zinger Alert!!!!!..............
-
Keep us posted on how long this one lasts......
-
Trend will find it, and also give you a detailed explanation on how remove it. Of course they're not going to correct it for nothing. They're in business to make a profit. However they do earn it. Best Virus protection I've ever had.
-
Along that line you can also run the Trend free housecall. It's what sold me on their product.
-
Well said Don.
-
Sure. It's a '92. Make me an offer I can't refuse.
-
Yep!! Try Ebay. Rt. mirrors blow hot and cold in what they end up going for. If they're selling high, wait a month and they'll make a market correction......
-
OK, did you check the cell level when you parked it, and before putting on the Tender? A Tender usually only puts out 12.9 vdc, and that's not enough to cause gassing and the electrolite level to drop. I'm wondering if it's your bike's rectifyer that's allowing the alternator to keep charging a high voltage while you're riding and not cutting back like it should when the battery gets replenished??? It might also explain why you're going thru so many batteries?? Just a thought.....

ya can tell Lowell's not out riding......:rotf:

Whew!! On sale for $125 buck.... Glad I bought mine back last year. $54.00 plus shipping. I for the life of me can't remember the online dealer I picked it up from.... that's what ya get when dealing with an OF.... Shoulda bought a bunch... Got the link off Charlie. (E.Fishin.C) when he posted it on the board. Maybe he still has the link?? Charlie.... chime in!!!

I gotta take my hat off to ya, but agree with your wife. It got down to 35 degs here yesterday and I caged it the 60 miles to the Meet'n'Eat. Plug in the windchill factor at 70mph and it's just too nippy for this OF..... Just for the heck of it I searched and found this wind chill chart. Brrr... And here's a calculator that will give you wind chill effect at any combination of temp and speed.

Unless I win the lotto I probbably won't be attending the '08 rally, but I guess can still toss in an opinion about the patch and the 'dot-org'....I think?? Anyway, Y'all know I'm always opine-ing.... I think this organization has evolved far beyond a website and is more of a MC association with a common interest, Venture V4's, that happens to have a great website to communicate. It's about time we start calling it what it is. Venture Rider International, and not be so worried about whether the .org has to appear on the patch ???

That town has been around for over 40 years. Harley didn't have anything to do with creating it....:rotf:

Does your wife have the problem, or is she the scapegoat??? It's easy to pass the buck and place the blame elsewhere.. Sometimes when the goal is achieved (perfect scoot) some people just need another challenge. Good luck with whatever you end up with......
-
YEP!!
-
No problem here either. My original statement was my opinion based on an observation and nothing more. You can agree or disagree, it doesn't make any difference.

No, the bottom line here is that there are many other brands out there that compare very well with the Bushtec at half their retail price. Bushtecs are not head a sholders above the rest of the industry enough to warrant prices double some of the others. Just because they have a patent on an item doesn't neccessarly mean that it's the only design that will do the job, or they are the only ones to produce a gel coat and color finish that are flawless. Personally I woundn't spend even half that amount on something that sits in the garage taking up room 51 weeks out of the year..... :mo money:I can think of much better places to put money. Bushtec prices are nutzo!!

You have a great looking scoot Brad. Other than the lighter colored gold they're pretty much the same and seem to have just about the same tinsel hanging on them. This one had highway pegs on it, but I let the seller keep them. They were those ringed pegs with the funky clamp. Ebay=$25 bucks. I have a nice set of Kuryakyns with the offset mounts and magnum clamps for it. Much nicer. With my long legs highway pegs are mandatory for any long distance riding.... -

Thanks for finding that Brad. I guess there is another color combo available in '91 that isn't on the list, because this one sure doesn't have anything blue in it. And I guess it isn't a repaint.... -
I don't buy it. I don't care what the parts cost. Ever consider what the parts and materials cost to build an enclosed tandem axle 6x12 cargo trailer? A custom axle for $750 bucks...gimme a break. Bushtec's are so way over priced it's rediculous, but if you want to buy into the name association so be it. I think those that do buy into it are also into Jordach and IZOD.

Still more than triple what it should retail for....
